Summary: When I ordered this game I had already played through several years earlier and knew it was a fun game, what with all of the pillaging and slaying of FAT STINKING HARFLINGS, but I had forgotten how pathetic the graphics were when it came to movements of NPCs and their mouths, where they would say something and their mouth would move in a weird way, taking the entire jaw for a single word.
Summary: Overlord is fun, alright, but only in the beginning--when you still have fond reminiscences of all the fun times you had playing Dungeon Keeper. but as you further advance in quests, somehow it all gets tedious and tiring. i love the graphics and all, but this is mainly for young gamers.
Summary: Clunky and confusing controls. Controls that don't work as prescribed. Hack-n-slash sorta game with no hack-n-slash. Steer clear of this debacle. I got a good hour of game play and only did the first part of the tutorial... If the tutorial is longer than an hour or if the tutorial confuses the player then that should be a clear signal to the developers to just stop. It definitely got this player to stop.
Summary: I loved this game. It was fun to play even for a person who doesn't like games where you have to kill things. You stand back and let your minions help you accomplish complete domination over your world. I recommend this game to just about everyone.
Summary: Let me get something straight. I liked this game. A LOT. I think its tons of fun once you get all the controls down and then figure out the different tactics which each minion. It is a fun mix between combat and puzzle solving, something few games actually achieve. My only dislike was the story. Not that it wasn't funny or entertaining but it didn't really give me much room in the way of deciding what type of villain I would be. Great game. however.
