Summary: I love me some Gradius and I like cute girls. The game is fun and easy to play, but the 2 player mode is not the best. Player 2 movements are strangely limited and if Player 1 dies, everyone's game is over. There's little localization here, ergo only English text with Japanese dialogue. Although, for a game like this, that's not a big issue. You REALLY don't need to know what the character's are saying, this game is pretty shallow.
Summary: Nothing like gradius. This game is gibberish, and I hate it. You get around 7 REALLY easy achievements, by picking each ship, and hitting start, but that's it's only redeeming quality. This was not made for the american market, complete garbage!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Summary: From a graphical standpoint, the game looks super awesome. But the gameplay itself is none more than an "eye-candy" side scrolling shooter. But with that being said, the action can get intense, and huge boss's firing fodder every which way to Sunday *(and on Sunday, too), but was just hoping for more...though I did see YouTube® video prior to purchase. If side shooters are your thing, I would give it a try.
Summary: I was excited about the price I paid for this special edition, which is the only reason I am not going to bother returning it. The full retail price is way too much considering this is an arcade style shmup that doesn't last any longer than an hour. It comes with a pillow case, art book, and a soundtrack cd. The soundtrack cd has a small flap embedded into the art book, which guarantees it will be scratched every time you slide it out and back into the flap.
