Summary: The controls were sketchy, the visuals were mediocre, the story was nothing special. Despite the interesting concept of the potential co-op it really did nothing to stand out from the already too large crowd of modern military shooters.
Summary: I bought Operation Flashpoint last weekend, and I love this game. I played the original Flashpoint on PC and was happy to see a new version on the xbox. I see a lot of people bad mouthing this game and I think the problem is with the player's expectations and not with Flashpoint. Sorry everyone, this isn't your typical first person shooter.

Summary: I was basically looking for a realistic alternative to COD or battlefield. Pros: -I like that most of the missions are based on strategy, you may have to run a mile to set up an approach, but I think that that adds to the realism. -The map is huge, you're not confined to one path, you can go where ever you want. -You have to take consideration for bullet drop and flight time. Cons: -Game play frequently interrupted by glitches or fumbling with controls and commands.
Summary: Right out of the gate this is a five star game, I love the realism, you are a 4 man team and you have to attack every objective with strategy and intelligence, unlike the more popular Call of Duty arcade style games where guns blazing no concern for well being will get you through every mission no problem.
