Summary: I got this for $10.00 from the Microsoft store and I still consider this a waste of money. There's no sneaking around and ambushing enemies. It's a just running around while button mashing enemies with guns, bazookas, and missile launchers. Come on! Who brings a knife to a missile launcher fight?
Summary: The Short Graphic :1/10 - Graphics are low poly, outfits look terrible, in cutscenes gear goes from low poly to high and back and forth Controls 2/10 - Tugboats handle better. there is some nasty input lag and awkward moments when your character refuses to attack. It's like it is trying to get between two different animations and decides to do neither.
Summary: The first two Ninja Gaiden games were masterfully developed and as difficult as they could be, the fun factor was still there... long story short they were easily top-tier in their respective genre. There's obviously a drastic change that sets the first two installments apart from the third. Just about everything has been changed and not for the better.
Summary: Within the first few minutes of gameplay I could tell this wasn't up to par with past Ninja Gaiden Titles. I enjoyed all of the others but this one left out something to be desired. I immediately returned the game without giving it a second chance.
Summary: X Y X X X Y is just about the only combo you will need to beat this. There is no expanded tutorial on combos or even a combo list to help make combat more interesting. Your ranged weapons consist of a bow... and nothing else. One Ninpu (magic) that charges with damage dealt to enemies that kills everything in the area.
Summary: I haven't played this game, but I've read many reviews and watched the trailer. I've also played the original NES NG's, and both the updated NG on xbox and NG2 on xbox360. Without a doubt a game for the serious player, the updated NG and NG2 are unforgiving yet extremely satisfying. These games mimicked real life martial arts in the sense that a high level of ability that could be achieved by taking some time to learn techniques.
Summary: As you will be aware this game marks a number of significant changes in the series for the worse. Here's whats wrong with it... Firstly the beautiful fluidity of the gameplay of NG1 & NG2 has been changed for the worse so that often whilst hacking down enemies, slow motion sequences will occur and the player will be given QTE prompts to finish an enemy off.
Summary: I don't even know where to begin with this game. It is utter trash. If you liked Ninja Gaiden 2 then you will be very disappointed in this one. This game is severely dumbed down. I'm not even going to waste anymore time writing this review. The game sucks and it sucks bad.
