Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: Other times, the character gets lost behind some of the scenery, forcing the player to make a leap of faith to the next spot and hope for the best. The game does try to give the player a little extra camera control, courtesy of the right thumbstick, but it zooms around so fast, it's hardly worth the effort. Not to mention the fact that sometimes when you get the camera positioned just right, the autocamera takes things right back to where you started.

True achievements

  • Conclusion: If you just pick away at the achievements and save after game to your profile you will get everything you can very very quickly. There are a lot of great guides up for this game and this might be the easiest sports game i have ever played. 4/5 overall view: Terrific time waster with some easy gamerscore.

  • Excerpt: Developer – Kush Games/Visual Concepts Publisher – 2K Sports Features Players - 1 to 8 Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround HDTV Support NHL 2K7 is back for the Xbox 360, but this year it has a little competition with Electronic Arts release of it's revamped NHL 07. Last year NHL 2K6 arrived during the launch of the Xbox 360. One of the biggest complaints was that it did not take advantage of the power of the Xbox 360.

Expert Review

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Ice hockey games don't seem to have changed over the last million years, and this is still the case with NHL 2K7 - the main change comes not in the integral play structure, but in the presentation mode. This tells you something. As a full price release this would be a waste of time, but as a budget game it's a solid, fun investment. EA take note for the next 48 footy games you put out in the next eight hours.

NHL 07

Deaf Gamers
27 February 2007
  • Excerpt: NHL 07, an introduction. When the Xbox 360 launched last December it was great to see such a wide selection of EA Sports titles. One series that was noticeable by its absence was the NHL series. This was rather unfortunate given that the NHL series is one of the better titles that EA Sports offer. This year though, the NHL series has come to the Xbox 360 and it’s quite an impressive next generation console debut.
