Summary: This is a decent NHL game with solid AI that provide for a challenging experience! The only downside for me is that sometimes the controls seem sluggish and passing the puck sometimes feels awkward when you are moving your player at the same time.
Summary: Oh I love this game. I picked it up when I was just learning about hockey. I have know grown in to a big hockey fan and can not stop playing this game. I really like the Be a Pro mode, it is severely hard to stop playing. If you like sports games that allow you to create a player from the ground up and make him a legend, this game is for you.
Summary: Awesome game.! I know you can fight on here using the right stick. I really can't tell you alot because i have not been able to sit down and explore it. All i can tell you is if you buy it your money is not being wasted.
Summary: This is a pretty good game. It's way better than NHL '11. The gameplay is great. My complaint is that there are still too many penalties. Not quite as many as were in '11, but a troublesome amount, nonetheless.
Summary: Improved game play, numerous game modes and unlockables. The biggest drawbacks, of course, are the live multiplayer being truly only one season long. If you can't get your MP achievements during the season, then you're kind of stuck without ever getting them b/c people start playing NHL 13. Plus, some of the career achievements are grinding and annoying. If you're looking for an easy 1000G, forget it.
Still a good game, but EA is lazy on presentation as usual.

Summary: Like the title says, it's a great and fluent game but EA Sports is yet again stealing our money by releasing these sports games every year and still making the presentation horrible. The teams always come out to the same intro and with the same animation. The commentators still say the same things. My Be a Pro goalie always goes through the same routines and animations.
