Summary: I played the PS2 version of NHL 07 and gameplay was perfectly smooth. Played the next gen 360 version and it was very laggy. Everything was delayed about a second or two messing with timing. I wouldn't recommend this game for a collector of the NHL series.
Summary: Since this game obviously is horrible compared to the newer games, I will review this for the time it came out. It was a fun game and I found myself playing it a lot. It was a turning point for the better games, and it doesn't really offer a lot. It's O.K. but far from great.
Summary: When I opened the case to inspect the game, it had scratches that seemed like they were previously 'buffed out.' I was unable to play the game, as the console read that the media was unreadable.
Summary: I bought this since NHL 09 came out as I was looking for cheap and good not just the latest thing. I mostly use it to play online matches with a friend and it's a fun fast game. Being used to the menu systems of Championship Manager on PC I was somewhat disappointed by the stylelf the Dynasty Mode. I'm sure it works well but the interface just didn't appeal to me. Maybe all console management games play this way but I steered clear of it.
Summary: Sweet hockey game as like all of EA's sports games. The joystick configuration is awkward at first but once you get it down it's the best for the dynamics of the game. My only reservation is the administrative/management interface because it's difficult to figure out to move saved/created players around throughout the various modes but there's nothing you can do about it so put that in the annoying column and hope EA improves it. Overall a solid 9 out of 10!
