Summary: EA needs to get out of gaming. I waited to buy this until the price was under $20... I paid $16 for it, and I still feel I paid too much. The single player career mode was completed on maximum difficulty in about 3 hours, and the multiplayer mode is completely worthless. Save your money, ban EA Games.
Summary: What a waste of money. The story line wasn"t bad, but the race mechanics are just horrible. Any deviation from the road and its a wreck or a restart. That combined with only 10 restarts per track makes for an annoying game. Too bad, I had hoped NFS was putting out its every 3-4 year stellar game. I traded this in for xbox's version of NFS Most wanted....the last good game NFS put out.
Summary: Enjoyed most of the arcade style racing in hot-pursuit last year. The Run, for all the hype - seriously is it even NFS? Game play is a major downfall.. it has these invisible boundaries along tracks.. it doesn't care whether it's just a flat non-tar (where hot pursuit allows you to drive thro at a reduced speed).. once you are off track - game resets. It has been driving me crazy most of the time. Drifts are literally not a part of the game - from what it appears.. !
Summary: This game is utter trash. It's NFS all over again. Nothing new... except terrible game play mechanics. Out-of-Bounds The cars now must stay within the confines of the game's "invisible out-of-bounds" rules. The animated holographic boundaries previously found in NFS games that were solid walls are now able to be driven through into out-of-bounds territory. Cross the boundary line... even if you are heading back onto the road and you're automatically reset.
