Great game, poor gameplay experience!

Summary: I first purchased this game for PC and used a Logitech F310 gamepad; results were poor handling and steering. Then I got an Xbox 360 gamepad and problem solved; better steering and cornering, and can drift much better too. I liked it so much I got it for Xbox 360 and having a blast. Wouldn't recommend those Logitech gamepads for racing game any more. They just don't work so well.
Pros: The cars are great, and the graphics are amazing. The excitement of the game is the best I've ever played in the series. Between the cops and all their weapons, and the racing and traffic, the game really tests your driving skills. It really gets intense once all the elements are thrown into one race. I'm not the best game, but I love racing games that challenge. This installment has done exactly that.
Cons: Three things annoy me about this game: 1st - The video and how it interrupts game play. EA could have left in an option turn in-game-play video off. It's rather bothersome, as I've missed shortcuts and have crashed after game-play would resume. You can't always see what's happening while those videos are wasting time while racing. I took an egg off for that. 2nd - I'm not particularly thrilled with how small the county is. You're literally racing through the same litt...
Summary: Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for Xbox 360 is pretty much like the rest of the NFS series, however there are a few quirks. But lets not start off this review negatively. This game is absolutely beautiful. If most of their budget went into making this game look amazing, my goodness it shows. I have a HDTV and the graphics are just totally mind boggling.
Summary: This game doesn't add anything new to the genre and is just a mash-up of Need for Speed and Burnout with a lil' Mario Kart thrown in. BUT... it is great fun to play and will keep you entertained for a few weeks. It is a good solid racing game with enough depth to keep you interested for a while, just don't expect anything revolutionary.
Summary: i decided to buy this game cause we have always loved need for speed but i didnt realize it was just a one player game...which is no fun especially when my wife also likes to play against me....so we were really disappointed when we couldnt play against each other..other than that little flaw i really liked it..
Summary: typical racing game. graphics are nothing to brag about but then again wii isn't big on graphics. other than that, it's the most mature racing game you'll find if you want to steer away from mariocart.
Summary: This game is fun, and the graphics are amazing, but wtf, there's no 2 player split screen? My wife and I sat down with our controllers ready to play and then we didn't see an option, so we looked on the back and it's only online... Damn it EA, why?
Summary: I pretty much only play first person shooters and racing games. I thought I'd give this new HOT PURSUIT series a try because it was created by the people behind the TAKEDOWN games. Hot Pursuit was always the coolest game from Need For Speed series, mix in the TAKEDOWN guys and I thought this would be an addictive game. I had been playing DIRT 2 to warm myself back up to racing games... in the week prior to receiving NFS:HP in the mail.
Summary: NFS: Hot Pursuit is an okay game. But I do admit that it is pretty fun when you first start playing it. After a couple of weeks though, it gets a little boring and repetitive. Playing online against some friends is the only time I really have fun. But overall, I say that it is okay. I think I am going to trade it in at Gamestop when TDU 2 comes out though.
Don't get me wrong, this game is fun, but there are too many problems to overlook

Summary: I am a huge fan of the arcade style NFS games, so I was excited to pop this game in and dive right into the action. There are a few very annoying things that really hurt the NFS franchise in this game however that cannot go over looked. Where to begin? As soon as I started the game, they FORCE you to watch a trailer for NFS: Shift 2. Hey EA, that's great and all, but I don't care.
