Great game, poor gameplay experience!

Summary: 1st - The video and how it interrupts game play. EA could have left in an option turn in-game-play video off. It's rather bothersome, as I've missed shortcuts and have crashed after game-play would resume. You can't always see what's happening while those videos are wasting time while racing. I took an egg off for that.
Pros: The cars are great, and the graphics are amazing. The excitement of the game is the best I've ever played in the series. Between the cops and all their weapons, and the racing and traffic, the game really tests your driving skills. It really gets intense once all the elements are thrown into one race. I'm not the best game, but I love racing games that challenge. This installment has done exactly that.
Summary: pretty good game but has a few bugs here and there. I like how ea and criterion are trying to keep NFS a fun a and playable game but, what they need to do is go back to the classic old NFS undergorund 2. you have the free roam, the underground racing league races and the missions for your car, and even the paint jobs and under glow. so if ea wants to keep creating nfs go back to the classics.
Summary: It's an ok game but, it really has no lasting appeal. Once you beat the career its done or even before you finish it can get boring. Some missions are increidbly difficult and some are extremely easily and there isn't much reason to complete every individual mission. You cannot customized your car at all.
Summary: Need for Speed isnt the game that i expected it to be. As soon as I opened the case I saw an outline for the world in the game which made me think that it was an open world game like the Midnight Club games. But I was wrong :( All that game is is winning races and running from the cops. THATS IT!!!!! The graphics arent very good and the cars in the game dont even handle like the cars in gram turismo or Forza.
Summary: I can honestly say that there is no need whatsoever to buy this game! RENT IT! It may be an aquired taste by some but its not a game with replayability. The chases are a little mundane and some end really quick! There just isnt enough going on in this game to make you want to keep playing it! I played it for 1 hour and was bored after 30 mins! I dont want to be a downer here but EA really needs to do a better job! They are slipping and lost it with this game!
Summary: i decided to buy this game cause we have always loved need for speed but i didnt realize it was just a one player game...which is no fun especially when my wife also likes to play against me....so we were really disappointed when we couldnt play against each other..other than that little flaw i really liked it..
Summary: typical racing game. graphics are nothing to brag about but then again wii isn't big on graphics. other than that, it's the most mature racing game you'll find if you want to steer away from mariocart.
Summary: This game doesnt live up to the Need For Speed title. There is no car customization, and there is no race variety. It's all go from point A to point B racing. I didn't find it hard, but i was so bored I had trouble winning because I just didn't care anymore. Even the cop missions weren't that fun. They just got repetitive. I highly suggest you pass on this game and buy a different Need For Speed game. One that lives up to the name.
