Great game, poor gameplay experience!
6 February 2013
Summary: 1st - The video and how it interrupts game play. EA could have left in an option turn in-game-play video off. It's rather bothersome, as I've missed shortcuts and have crashed after game-play would resume. You can't always see what's happening while those videos are wasting time while racing. I took an egg off for that.
Pros: The cars are great, and the graphics are amazing. The excitement of the game is the best I've ever played in the series. Between the cops and all their weapons, and the racing and traffic, the game really tests your driving skills. It really gets intense once all the elements are thrown into one race. I'm not the best game, but I love racing games that challenge. This installment has done exactly that.
Summary: Enjoyable game and is fun to play, but I miss some of the other side games from earlier NFS titles. Lots of cars and a difference in driving each one. Haven't tried the online part yet, I'm more of the solo game player. Good but could be better.
Summary: pretty good game but has a few bugs here and there. I like how ea and criterion are trying to keep NFS a fun a and playable game but, what they need to do is go back to the classic old NFS undergorund 2. you have the free roam, the underground racing league races and the missions for your car, and even the paint jobs and under glow. so if ea wants to keep creating nfs go back to the classics.
Summary: It's an ok game but, it really has no lasting appeal. Once you beat the career its done or even before you finish it can get boring. Some missions are increidbly difficult and some are extremely easily and there isn't much reason to complete every individual mission. You cannot customized your car at all.
Good game, racing was good, but not very fun and feels stiff.

Summary: Great graphics, just not fun, difficult at times. Need for Speed has been going downhill ever scince Underground 2. that was one of their better titles.. Yes the graphics are great, but the controls feel stiff, the fun action is not there.. if your looking for a fun racer of the PS3 try Split Second.. it is fun and explosive.
Summary: I bought this looking for a lot of fun.. and what I got was a lot of frustration. The AI is beyond unbelievable. You will be so far ahead and then they will all of a sudden make a miracle comeback to pull ahead of you. Also, I can barely find an online game. The career mode is also pretty boring. It gets repetitive fast and I'm not going to even bother to finish it it is so frustrating, especially the cop career.
Summary: Great game for those who have a nastalgic love for the NEED FOR SPEEDS of old. I however miss the car modifications too much to tell. I also would like more substance to a story line. Maybe not the fmv type format but something to hold my intrest.
Summary: Need for Speed isnt the game that i expected it to be. As soon as I opened the case I saw an outline for the world in the game which made me think that it was an open world game like the Midnight Club games. But I was wrong :( All that game is is winning races and running from the cops. THATS IT!!!!! The graphics arent very good and the cars in the game dont even handle like the cars in gram turismo or Forza.
