Football...Glitchy and not very competitive

malebaron22, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this game because it was much cheaper than NCAA 09-13. I read another review that mentioned the easy setting was too easy and the normal setting was too hard. This is true. I found it difficult to play the normal setting and don't like playing this anymore. At least I didn't spend too much on it...

Decent game

  • Summary: Nowhere near as fun as NCAA 08 for the original Xbox, but still a great game. Fantastic graphics, great music, all the feel of a new-gen football game.

Good fun, but shows it's age.

  • Summary: NCAA Football 2008, is by and far not a perfect game. It is not Madden 11, it is not NCAA 2011, it will not blow your mind. The mechanics are out-dated, as are the animations. But, this game does offer a good time, easy gamer-score, and a thrilling dynasty-mode that continues to offer replay value. Controls 10/10 - Sticks to the normal formula. Nothing suprising, nothing to learn. If you've played one football game, you've played them all.

Not good at all

  • Summary: The gameplay is choppy, the graphics are so bad, barely better than ps2 graphics, and the game isn't addicting. The announcers have been using the same lines since probably 2004 and it's really annoying. BAD GAME.

A pretty good game, but....

  • Summary: Let me start off by saying that when your playing in a game scenario, this game can be fun, But problems start rather quickly. One of my biggest complaints is in the passing game, the lack of location based passing makes throwing the ball nerve racking, often times on a crossing route your receiver will have to spin around backwards just to make the catch. And if your hoping to throw over your receivers shoulder where a defender cant reach it....

Depends on what type of gamer you are

  • Summary: I bought this game reading the reviews and giving it the benefit of the doubt since I hadn't had an NCAA football game for 360 yet. I have mixed feelings on this game...I guess it just depends on what type of gamer you are. Just about everyone brings up valid points...and I'll just re-iterate on a few. This game seems to be developed more for those who want to either coach the game or feel like they're a real player in the game.

Not What You Have Played In The Past!!!

Chuck, Amazon

  • Summary: Hey NCAA Football fans! If you liked making YOUR OWN TEAM AND STADIUM, if you liked making YOUR OWN PLAY BOOK, if you liked taking A DIV. II TEAM AND MAKING IT INTO A POWERHOUSE, then this game is not for you because you CAN'T DO ANY OF THOSE THINGS! I have to admit, as a long time player of the NCAA series, I was looking forward to all those things AND increased graphics, what I got was a gutted game for the sake of graphics and now I am thinking of hooking up the old...
