Summary: I bought this game because it was much cheaper than NCAA 09-13. I read another review that mentioned the easy setting was too easy and the normal setting was too hard. This is true. I found it difficult to play the normal setting and don't like playing this anymore. At least I didn't spend too much on it...
Summary: Whoever said that they don't say the names of the players, your wrong. During Campus league mode they will attempt to pronounce your last name if you tackle or run the ball. Its not very loud but you can hear it if you listen.
Summary: This game was my first NCAA football. I loved the RTG in it. The teams are balanced too. The graphics were ahead of its time. All you HATERS compare it to '12, but this one is 4 years old, give it a break.
Summary: the game is very good, easy controls, hundreds of college plays to choose from then any madden game, and i think is a lot better than madden. and thats a lot comming from me, because i only played madden when i was growing up, and he always had the same old boring plays in every game , with better graphics.
Summary: NCAA Football 2008, is by and far not a perfect game. It is not Madden 11, it is not NCAA 2011, it will not blow your mind. The mechanics are out-dated, as are the animations. But, this game does offer a good time, easy gamer-score, and a thrilling dynasty-mode that continues to offer replay value. Controls 10/10 - Sticks to the normal formula. Nothing suprising, nothing to learn. If you've played one football game, you've played them all.
