Football...Glitchy and not very competitive

malebaron22, Amazon
18 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought this game because it was much cheaper than NCAA 09-13. I read another review that mentioned the easy setting was too easy and the normal setting was too hard. This is true. I found it difficult to play the normal setting and don't like playing this anymore. At least I didn't spend too much on it...

Decent game

Chris Blankenship, Amazon
12 January 2013
  • Summary: Nowhere near as fun as NCAA 08 for the original Xbox, but still a great game. Fantastic graphics, great music, all the feel of a new-gen football game.

Good fun, but shows it's age.

Keith, Amazon
3 January 2011
  • Summary: NCAA Football 2008, is by and far not a perfect game. It is not Madden 11, it is not NCAA 2011, it will not blow your mind. The mechanics are out-dated, as are the animations. But, this game does offer a good time, easy gamer-score, and a thrilling dynasty-mode that continues to offer replay value. Controls 10/10 - Sticks to the normal formula. Nothing suprising, nothing to learn. If you've played one football game, you've played them all.

Fun but heavily flawed game

Blurb "Joker", Amazon
15 August 2010
  • Summary: Pros: 1. you can guide the ball and back shoulder throw in this game. - I am a big fan of putting the ball where my player is. I back shoulder throw in this game as well as putting the ball in the zone coverages like no tommrrow. - Other NCAA games do not have this at all. If you try to back shoulder throw, your IDIOT receiver just keeps running like a moron mean while the safety or Corner comes up to pick it off. 2. Some really good ideas.

Same as all the other 'NCAA' games

Andy Coffland, Amazon
23 November 2009
  • Summary: If you like them chances are you'll like this too. Pretty fun, but takes a while to get the controls & nuances down....like most other games. I wouldn't pay more then $5 for it now as they are very dated.
