Sent back twice as game would freeze up on opening scene of baseball.
stuart saussy, Amazon
15 April 2014
Summary: Ordered the game twice in one week and both versions would freeze on the opening scene of the baseball. The basketball worked fine, but my kids ordered it for the baseball and both times couldn't play. Very disappointing to kids and myself as I had to return both versions.
Summary: When I bought this game off of Amazon the price was what really impressed me. It was remarkably cheap and it was delivered to my home in about 3 days which was nice. The game play was clear and there were no scratches on the CD. However, the game didn't come with the online play that I was excited about. Overall the game was pretty good but it would have been better with the online play.
Summary: It seems as if their hands are a magnet to ball movement. Their back could be turned and NOT LOOKING AT ALL!!!, but when you pass to a guy in their area, their hands automatically fly up every time to hit my pass and steal it. (like they knew exactly when i was going to pass). and THE BALL KEEPS GETTING DRIBBLED OFF MY TEAMMATES SHOE. I HATE THIS!!!. and YOU CANNOT CONTEST DUNKS!!. when someone is about to dunk, you can't control the player to block it.
Summary: The game is ok. The last 2k game i played was 2k8, which I thought was the greatest basketball game up to that point. This game is similar, but a lot more complicated. Some moves can be a little too complicating and you end up taking a shot into your defender's arms. The My Player game mode is particularly frustrating.
NBA 2K12 struggles in follow-up to the extraordinary 2K11
2 January 2012
Summary: NBA 2K12 is one of the most top heavy sports titles imaginable. What it does well is exceedingly impressive but faulty features or those that dont live up to potential do enough damage to affect the overall perception and complete value of the product. (UPDATE) With the lockout ended and the season underway roster updates have arrived to help alleviate some of the problems it caused to the product.
Summary: Fun and Frustrating... This is only the 4th NBA 2K game I've played (2K, 2K1, 2K11 now 2K12). I haven't gone through everything in 2K12 but here are my impressions on what I've played so far... I play My Player mode the most so I'll start off with that... - It's a lot easier to jump into than 2K11. You play 1 pre-draft game, not the 7 or so in 2K11 that you had to grind through.
