Summary: This game is the most realistic NASCAR simulation game that I have played in a while. As in real racing, the driver must be patient and pass other cars when the opportunity presents itself, and unlike previous NASCAR games, you just cannot drive through the other cars though. I highly recommend this game to those of you that want a realistic experience.
Conclusion: NASCAR 08, compared to the other NASCAR games I have played (NASCAR 06 and NASCAR the Game 2011), NASCAR 08 is horrible. The graphics are decent, but where's the debris from 06. When it comes to the EA Sports titles I have played, when the graphics go up, quality goes down. At least 06 had a short cut scene when you won showing Kurt Busch celebrating with his crew in Victory Lane. NASCAR 08 lacks that.
No wonder this is the best-selling game franchise for NASCAR

Summary: This was the first NASCAR game for my 360. I have played all of the others on PS2. I was impressed with all of the differences between driving the regular cars and the C.O.T. The driver's license tasks before starting a career was a need feature. My only negative feedback, and this is against Microsoft and not EA Sports, would be about the sensitivity of the controllers.
Summary: This nascar title is graphically solid, depth is there for the micro manager, the controls are tricky if your going to use your joystick on the handheld controller, you will have to adjust the linerary and responsiveness to handle the cars on a line around the track, especially if your doing full races requiring you to practice and have patience to get a good feel for it.Im getting a wheel just to enhance the gameplay but it can be done w/o.
Summary: I bought this game for myself to play, not a hardcore race fan, just a somewhat follower of the sport. This game is very fun to play with friends. The only problem I notice is that the online mode is glitchy, and will boot you off the race after 3 hours of play, but you can get right back on after it kicks you off. The cars I believe are from the year when Mark Martin was in the 01. Also when you are online racing make sure to get a car setup from a willing racer.
Summary: Great Nascar game. Realistic driving dynamics. Terrific graphics. Huge on-line population. My only complaint is the steering is touchy. Takes a little time to get things adjusted to make it "easy" to drive.
Summary: I bought this game hoping for the newest greatest graphics the Xbox 360 could produce....Not! This game was a disappointment due to the fact the game has lost many of the past features and added long drawn out bull sessions, and gained no graphic enhancements. NASCAR 09 has slight improved graphics that make it a better buy if that's why you bought an Xbox 360, but very slight. There are many racing games out there that blow away EA Sports NASCAR attempt to go HD.
Summary: They really dropped the ball with nascar 08. You start out in this game having to take driving test, this leads to lisence test, then if you pass all the test you can start a race team. The test are laid out just like Grand Turismo. The test are very hard and are NOT nascar like. You will spend days working on your driving skills just to start a race team, then you get to start racing. This is a bunch of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: I just started getting into the sport of NASCAR once I joined a fantasy league this year so I decided to try out the game and it's as good as I expected it to be. There a definitely a lot of different obstacles to tackle before you even start a career to get licensed and contracts to help "train" you on how to drive. The graphics and gameplay are about as good as every other EA Sports game, could be a little bit better but not bad at all.
