Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is a throwback to earlier versions of the Mortal Kombatt series and that is meant as a complement. The seemingly ill-fitting DC Heroes and Villains mesh nicely with the Mortal Kombat characters, creating an interesting back story and lets the gamer get their fight on. Mortal Kombat vs. Read more

The ever immortal question is not “Why are we here”? or “How will I die”? and not even “Who is God”? the immortal question is “Who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman”? Read more
To cut a long story short, this certainly won't be the game to help Midway get through its financial crisis. However, it's comforting to know that the developers behind MK won't be affected by the company's difficulties. So, here's looking at a better sequel, perhaps. Read more
"Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" isn’t going to satisfy those seeking a deep title in the genre, although those who like their fighting games to go a little easier on their fingers, or those who just like bashing faces in, will find plenty to enjoy here. Read more
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is a quality fighting game which fans are surly going to enjoy. Playing as characters such as Superman, The Joker, and Batman definitely add to the whole Mortal Kombat experience as they are tied in nicely with the MK fighting style. This is a quality fighting game which fans of the franchise and the genre in general will enjoy. Read more
Overall this title was a pleasant surprise to review. I went into it expecting one thing, but came out of it being very satisfied. While the game does have it’s problems, like the overall difficulty and the controls being difficult to master, it still manages to impress. The new fighting mechanics, and of course, the new addition of the DC Universe adds a much needed breath of fresh air to this franchise. Read more
Speaking as a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, allow me to say this—we don't come for the fighting. The fighting is secondary. If we wanted good fighting, we would play Street Fighter , or Tekken , or Virtua Fighter . We accept the fighting only insofar as it adds weight and consequence to the kills. That's right, this is the one place where alarmists and congresspeople are 100 percent correct. We're only coming to Mortal Kombat games for the violence. Read more
Midway's new fighting sequel looks good, but doesn't play much differently than its predecessors. Read more

the game was great but unfortently it is only a one player game you should be able to fight another player, not the game itself basically once you beat it once there is no point in playing it again Read more
I bought this game for my husband for Christmas, and it's one of the few games that we can both actually play and enjoy. It can be as hard or as easy as you make it. You can learn the complex moves (like my husband does), or just press a bunch of buttons that throw some kicks and punches (like I do) and either way you can have a good time! Read more
I've determined that I'm not going to purchase video games from newegg any longer being that this is not the first or second lemon game that I have bought. It's a bit easier to return a broken game to gamestop than wait three weeks for a replacement/refund. Read more
The graphics are amazing and feel life-like. The moves and combos are flawless. All the characters are pretty good fighters so there is a good challenge. Arcade mode really gets your heart pumping. Story mode can be played on either Mortal Kombat's side or DC Universe's side. The story mode can be beaten in two hours on each side. The first thing that i noticed about this game was that the music really added to the intenseness (hope that's a real word) of the game. Read more
This game was extremely challenging. I felt that it really did lack originality and was much too like, say, street fighter and Tekken. This game had it's up such as the many different moves and combinations that you could do and the different maps along with the wide range of characters to choose from. The difficulty of the game shocked me greatly. Althought i could have sworn to have set it to easy i simply could not beat anyone. Read more
too basic no intense fatality seems got traded in for a teen rating. its ok for the casual gamer. how ever for a hardcore MK fan it was rather disappointing. Read more
Mortal Kombat character against...DC comic characters?! When I first heard about this idea, I jumped out of my window. Luckily for me, the drop wasn't too high. I am only mildly brain damaged as a result. Now, there's a pretty good character selection. I won't spoil it for you, but it's got a lot of what you know and love... so that's pretty cool. The actual gameplay is pretty fun, too. Got some nice, gory fatalities... Read more

This game has an added 3 excellent new fighting techniques Klose Kombat , Freefall Kombat and Test your might but it has really lacked on the fatalities. Online fighting is very simple and easy to use but is definitely not for people that are not experts of the game. although i am a very Mortal Kombat sided person the dc storyline was still enjoyable and even though it only lasted about 3 - 4 hours. Although that's not what these types of games are about. Read more
