Summary: Like I said about, the game is a blast, that's why I ordered it. However I was disappointed to see the product I had bought advertised as "new" had a large crack in the area used to open the game. While it doesn't necessarily effect anything in the game, it does make opening the case annoying and you feel like you might break it more.
Summary: The game play has been tweaked a bit since the previous version of this game, but it is nothing that you can't adjust to, and overall I think it offers more character control. The special moves or super moves as called in the game are a fun mix too with most of your favorite moves form you MK characters kept in with a mix of a few new ones to keep things interesting.
Summary: Eh, just another game in the series. Nothing too special with this one. Thats why it loses an egg. There is just no real innovation here, aside from that bone-cracking thing which is way to easy to do.
Pros: Overall good game, but the previous game in the series was better (MK vs DC). The special moves seem a little too hard to do consistantly. MK vs DC was more consistant with this. It was just a funner game. But, overall its very playable. Fatalities are very brutal, as always.
Cons: Again, special moves are inconsistant. Also, fatalities dont seem to work every time. Its not due to operator error. Its the game.
Summary: Game plays well and easy with the controls. Plays better than other Mortal kombat games and has more and realistic characters.I have enjoyed playing this against my friends and would highly recommend it if you are a Mortal Kombat fan. You have a good selection of characters and can vary characters strengths. I have all the Mortal Kombat collection and by far this one is the best to date. I hope they bring out another one soon with even more characters. Many hours of fun.
Summary: Good game really, all i have to say is this is how the MK series needs to be. When a 2D fighter shifts to a 3d world, it takes away most of its spark. I feel better about this game and all in all Good job Neather realm studios.
Pros: Remember as a kid when you went to the arcade and spent hours fighting other players in mortal kombat? Yeah, i did too. This is how i felt when i started this game when i first got it. Like every game before, mortal kombat pits you against deadly foes for supreme power. the game brings you back to its origins as a 2d style fighter with good mechanics and keeps it true to form as a brutal fighter with new features such as a super meter that helps you break combos, incr...
Cons: Well, not much to really say in this area. Only thing that bothers me is the deficulty of the story and sometimes the challenges bothered me too, but instead of pushing me away, it made me want to keep playing!! The only real Problem i felt with this was the 2 on 1 fights and the final boss, I hated Shao Kahn. The 2 on 1 battles got to me cause you feel you need to take them out as quick as you can before one switches out while low, i seen fighting normal foes is one ...
Summary: I have been the most loyal Street Fighter player for over 25 years till
playing this edition of MK. The graphic's are awesome, the game play is really
good, the challenge ladder adds a whole new element to playing and the story
line is worth playing aswell.
Summary: Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition is definitely the best Mortal Kombat game ever, when it comes to gameplay. Great graphics and lots of gore. Maybe a little thin on fatalities (about 5 per character).
A really excellent story mode that forces you to play a lot of different characters in a story that spans over the tournaments in the first couple of games in the series.
All in all, a great fightning game and a must buy if you're even remotely interested in the series.
