Summary: This will be a short review since I suspect most of you that are interested in this game have already played the console version. This is a near-perfect port of the console version. The visuals are almost perfect (with a slight flaw I'll mention in a moment) and the game runs consistently at 60 frames per second. This is the first fighting game for handheld that you can truly play like the console versions thanks to the Vita's full layout of analog sticks and buttons.
Summary: I was never a big fan of fighting games, including Mortal Kombat, but I have played Mortal Kombat titles in the past with friends. Eventually picked up a copy of this game to play with my wife (she likes fighting games) and i fell in love pretty quick. The controls aren't very hard to pick up on, the lineup includes all of the classic characters that make the series distinguishable, and the multiplayer fun never ends.
