This game is set to be released on April, 2011 in United States of America and United Kingdom for the game consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Mortal Kombat is the latest title in the Mortal Kombat series.

Features

Mortal Kombat continue on after the events of the previous video game, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Players take the role of Raiden, where he is given the task to save Earthrealm. The players need to defend Emperor Shao Kahn after he beaten Raiden and his partners. In this action game, the players would experience a more realistic graphic detail with the new sophisticated graphics engine that has not been seen in the previous games before. Other than that, Mortal Kombat features a new gameplay which include a classic 2D fighting plane, an up to 4 player tag-team kombat fight where two players could choose to play together and perform attacks together as well as a more matured presentation and one on one fights. Also, this game features a new fighting mechanic that provides the fighting game the players look for. The Deep story mode in this game gives the players the deepest story mode by taking them back to the original Mortal Kombat tournament where the players get to change history by altering the events of the past in order to save the future. In Addition, there will be other modes too in the game, such as the enhanced online feature set as well as the Co-op arcade mode plus the Challenge Tower Mode where there will be over 300 challenges with various stage difficulties. A Fatality training mode will also be available in this game as this mode enables the players to perform specific fatalities for specific characters.
