Summary: Forgetting multiplayer and minigames just the core experience is mind numbingly slow. That's right folks I'm saying this is slow even for Monopoly. I go to the options screen sure there is relief there from the dull animations I think. Fail. Nothing. What was anyone thinking with this?
Summary: A really poorly designed game with major issues: 1. No way to opt out of the constant comments from the "moderator". 2. Must play with 4 players (Total of human and computer players.) 3. Computer will make idiotic deals with other computer players to establish monopolies early in the game. 4.
Summary: The game is nice. Now that everything is calculated for you. All you have to do is just sit and watch and press the button. I find the animation is too slow. It could have been quicker. Oh yah, that music is very very annoying after a while. It just keep on looping and looping.
Summary: This is going to go down as another EA blunder. The only thing making this game OK is the fact that it is under 40 dollars. Not worth more than 25 dollars though. There are so many annoyances and too many to list. Here are some. 1.
Summary: I hoped it would be fun. But it wasn't it just seems lazy. Someone has tried to add sounds and animations to the game, but it just ends up being sluggish. If it was on a mobile phone you wouldn't mind because of the restrictions of the hardware, but on the Xbox 360 it just seems a bit pointless.
Summary: The review "avoid avoid avoid" is spot on. This game is flawed with poor AI and also poor dice logic, I played with someone and they ended up in jail no less than 30 times and I got a double on pretty much every round.
Summary: I'd been looking forward to playing this game for months. It was going to be great but sadly this game is the poorest version of monopoly I've played yet. There is no online live game play, the game does not save your settings between games (you need to re-enter your name, token and custom house...
Excerpt: The riches mode is different and not too bad, but the normal game, as you would play on a board is too slow and boring. I think that Monopoly should stay a board game. On a plus side it is some easy gamer points :)
