Summary: This game was so much fun. There were so many moments were my pulse quickened and I was sucked in by the suspense. It does all this without being cheesy or resorting to pure surprise scares. This game surprised me with the depth of its storytelling and balance of shoot 'em up action and the feel of a gritty survival horror game. The only things I disliked were the rather awkward controls and lack of npc interaction. Still, a super memorable game.
Summary: after playing metro, you could say fallout is a more light hearted experience , and metro is a proper apocalypse, where most of the living haven't seen the sky and to go surface side you need a gas mask, i must say i was impressed with this game the mechinics are fresh and original the game reminds me of old survival horror games conserving scarce ammunition and supplies not to mention the ammuntion your fireing is the world's currency that you need to resupply yourself...
Summary: I ordered this game because I heard of its spooky atmosphere and good storytelling. I'll start by saying this game definitely delivers in the atmosphere, it really convinces you of the desperation and despair going on in this post apocalyptic wasteland but the story felt a little bland to me at times. The one thing that ruined this game for me in a huge way was the gameplay and controls.
An excellent story amid a sea of other plot-less videogames.

Summary: I just finished playing this game and overall, it was refreshing to play a game with such a deep plot now a days. I would compare it to bioshock in its story and environment uniqueness. It is one of those games that compels you to keep playing until you reach the end. The part I enjoyed the most was the well through out and complete plot. You play Artyom, a Russian citizen-turned-soldier in a post apocalyptic Moscow.
Pros: Story, Stealth or Strength, Variety of weapons and environments, variable plot choices, excellent graphics
Cons: Auto-save locations seem haphazardly placed and activate regardless of the current game situation, difficult controls at some points
Summary: Metro 2033 is a great, story-driven FPS. Set in a post-apocalyptic Russia (after a devastating nuclear war), Metro 2033 has you creeping through the dank Russian underground filled with hideous mutants and supernatural entities, as well as the more familiar but equally dangerous Nazis and Bolsheviks in an 8 hour adventure. Graphics are superb. Sound effects and voice acting solid.
