Summary: I have been playing this for a few nights now, and its such a eye pleaser with huge combo's and a wicked sushi knife. Its quite difficult to master the counter moves, which are required for some of the bosses. So im currently stuck trying to kill a robot dog with a chainsaw tail.......not a situation i have found myself in before.....
Summary: If you enjoyed any of the other games they have made, you're sure to like this. For a metal gear solid fan, do not expect it to be like the other games in the series. All the trademarks of platinum are there; over-the-top action and set pieces, cheesy dialogue and a well designed fight system. The mechanical design is also pretty damn good- raiden looks awesome, as do the rest of the cyborg cast.
Summary: I looked into this game considerably as i have played all the previous games and became aware that it is unlike the other's but can only agree with most other's, in that yes it is different but nonetheless enjoyable to play and some say it is just a button slamming game but once you know what you are doing it becomes more skillful and the graphics are pretty cool, amazing really, Its very slick and when your in the mood for this genre its just what the doctor ordered.
Not really a Metal Gear game, but much more than a sci-fi Dynasty Warriors clone

Summary: Let's face it, if you are a long term Metal Gear fan, Raiden is not going to be the guy you want to play as in a proper main series title (not again!). But Platinum games really rose to the occasion with this one and delievered something completely differant; Insanely fast paced and quirky, it delievers all of the bizzare pseudo-military antics and offbeat humour of an MG game, but at a breakneck pace not really seen since the last time Sega made a Sonic game ~properly~.
Summary: so much fun with a great combat system and addictive gameplay just beacuse its not a stealth game like the rest of the metal gear games dosent mean it cant be a metAL GEAR GAME i welcome the addition of being raiden as a nija and cutting anything i see fit
Summary: Ok My review is based on the fact I rented instead of purchased. If I had paid £40 then I would be furious. As I just rented it was worth every penny! This game is huge fun and has everything an action/hack n slash should have and more. The boss battles are incredible with the epic soundtrack making it feel even better! There isn't many games like this anymore with many game developers going for the usual fps.
Summary: really enjoyed this game. challenging, addictive, doesn't take itself seriously and it's a very fun experience! overall i thoroughly recommend it to those who are fans and people who are new to the Metal Gear series alike!
