Summary: I shall start by saying that overall, this is not a bad game, it is exciting and at times fun, however.... As a Metal Gear Game, it lacks the intensity and the oomph that the previous games had. Good Points: - You are continuing in essence from the end of MGS4 - You are a character that, if you have played the previous MG Games, you are familiar with - It is action packed - New Weapons System (High Frequency Blade is amazing) - Graphics are very good Bad Points: - Lack...
If you like cut scenes go on and on then pick this lousy hack and slash

Summary: Is a hack and slash game with swords instead of a stealth game with number of mindless codex's talks a lot so you be pressing the skip button a lot. Oh and cut scenes after each other go on forever kill this guy then a cut scene will come on, then kill another then more CUT SCENES will be on, annoying. A red wall will stop you from going anywhere until you kill all bad guys can be dull a lot to do this why don't you just continue moving through the game without pauses?
Summary: I have played all the Metal Gear games to date and found them all really enjoyable. However this game is just so repetative the slashing of the sword is fun at first but quickly becomes quite tiresome. If this was a stand alone title it would be entertaining but to tag it onto the Metal Gear franchise was a mistake. The story is so poor in comparison to to previous titles not engageing at all.
Summary: Im a long term fan of all metal gear games released in the past, and by all means Rising doesnt disapoint in the game play aspect, but the feel of Metal Gear isnt there in Rising. The game lacks the stealth aspect which has been a major part of all previous titles, usually you find yourself charging in slashing and chopping with your sword...
Summary: The game is soaked in the quality you would expect from a Metal Gear game, it looks nice, it's fast paced, but suffers from repetitive button bashing down a straight and narrow path to the end - which is VERY fast coming. It's nice for MGS fans I guess, but for someone looking for a new, fulfilling action game, you may feel a bit disappointed after all the top scoring reviews we've come to read.
