Summary: Not a great game. All the fun that comes from the retro style animation, the quirky characters, the general simplicity of the story, & potential fun is is locked away behind annoying level design, bad gameplay, a lack of fun level design, & general lack of intuitiveness kill this games potential fun factor.
Summary: A really fun and challenging game. I don't give it a perfect score because not everyone can sit down and play it, save for the most hardcore of gamers. Having said that, the game is a blast to play. There's lots of replay value (challenges and time attack), the leaderboards provide something to brag about, and the game itself comes with trophy support. If you have a thirst for a real challenge and are quite fond of 8-bit graphics, this is the game to buy. I love it.
Summary: I would have to agree with 'Axlthehunter's review. Great fun, with a wash of nostalgia all the way. Obviously not as good as 9, or a couple others from the past, but still works well in the series. As far as a cash grab, I agree as well, however, for $10 I get a new 8-bit mega man... then cash grab me anyday. Should you download it, just know its not better than 9 or 2 or 3, but its still a great fun Mega Man game. The only disappointment I had is that of the music.
Summary: By perfectly mimicking the style of the beginnings of the series, Mega Man 10 proves that games, no matter how "dated" the design may be, that are challenging, fun, and full of personality will always stand the test of time. Numerous additions like time attack challenges, playing as Proto Man, and an Easy mode only sweeten the deal.
Summary: While it doesn't quite live up to MM1-3, this game is still an absolutely fantastic addition to the Mega Man library and a must-buy for fans of the original NES games. Like Mega Man 9 this game features tons of nostalgic charm, good level design, creative enemies and a stellar soundtrack. Plus the addition of Protoman from the get-go, challenge stages, time attack and mostly attainable achievements really up the replay value.
Summary: Maybe MegaMan 10 is a cash in by the developer, but you know what? It's a fun Cash In. Let's get this straight, I am a huge Megaman Fan, at one point growing up I prided myself in owning just about every official Megaman game released in the US all the way up to the GBA/PS2 era. love the series to death especially the originals. That being said, I was shocked and amazed by the announcement of Megaman 9 last year.
