Summary: Having played all three Mass Effect games, including the much disputed ME3 ending, overall this is a great trilogy. Story, combat, characters, graphics are great, especially in Mass Effect 3. I was glad they changed planet scanning in the final game, which kind of more like homework in the second game. The ending of Mass Effect 2 had a great ending in my opinion, with the suicide mission which was exciting to play through. My only problem is the ME3 ending.
Summary: Bought because it was one of the few games on my son's wishlist with an age-rating that was roughly appropriate. But it arrived with an (overseas?) rating of 15+ "strong themes, sex scenes and drug reference" and "not suitable for people under 15. Under 15s must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian". So, it hasn't been given or opened. No idea what the game is like, just wary of whether it's what I thought it was.
Another moneygrab from the marketplace. No real need for this.

Excerpt: This rating covers this expansion only, that is 'Bring Down The Sky.' However a little look at Mass Effect initially. Mass Effect is a brilliant in depth but easy to pick up play RPG. It isn't too colossal a world but enough that you can lose yourself in your character, the decisions you make to effect your story, skill and stat upgrades, weapon and armour upgrades etc etc. Plenty to do. Where this game suffered was the limited environment models and textures.
Excerpt: From the creators of Knights of the Old Republic comes something I wasn't expecting. Believing that this game would be a sci-fi version of Fable I was sadly mistaken. I found the fight system, the characters and the storyline poor. To complete the game the storyline needs to be completed multiple times but I was bored with the one play through.
Conclusion: Never played any Mass Effect game myself, so bought this pre-owned with the intention of going through this and ME2 in anticipation of ME3 next year. I read (and trusted) the reviews of the majority.
Conclusion: I read the glowing reviews and thought I'd try this game.Sadly I found I must be the only person on the planet who doesn't like this game.I found it to be a bit of a tedious slog fest.About halfway through I started to lose the will to live(in all honesty I wasn't that keen on creating my own character at the beginning...
Conclusion: I remember being let down by Game at the last minute and because of people on a gaming forum I managed to find a copy of the collectors edition on here, but after receiving I don't think it's worth the money, firstly the whole package should have come with a sturdy plastic cover, and then a CD for the sound track, not a tedious download code that requires registering to EA and the Bioware social forum, then needs converting to mp3,then it came with a whole load of codes which...
