Could have been better...but I liked it enough to play through it multiple times

Summary: 5 stars for the game play (I loved it) 1 star for some of the gyrations they put the story line through. The expanded ending helped...however some of the big momentous decisions from earlier games really had only a marginal impact. And it really was a Dues Ex machina type ending. Having said that...I have played through this game (and the entire series) multiple times. If you flesh out some of the details in the ending with head-canon then it can work quite nicely.
If you're going to buy the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition; buy it NEW.

Summary: I am a HUGE Mass Effect fan and I'm one of the very few who is not disgusted at its ending. Yea. I know. It's a dangerous thing to admit, isn't it? Well that's long behind us and the developer of this game, Bioware.Anyways, about this Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3... I made the mistake of buying a 'Used' copy of this expecting to get the DLC and such when I found out the hard way: The DLC is NOT in-game.
Biggest disappointment ever in my 20+ years of gaming

Summary: I don't regret my purchase as the LE itself is "okay" and I couldn't buy a LE of the first two games (I really wanted to have one as I'm that big of a fan), but this game, for a big devoted fan of the first ones, is a huge letdown and just cemented my decision to stop buying Bioware/EA games. Also please stop calling this an rpg, cause in this game Bioware stopped pretending they still make rpgs.
Summary: Not as good as the first game. I miss old bioware, the bioware that existed prior to EA. Their games were way more detailed and in depth then and more time was spent on them. I could customize my followers without paying extra too.
Summary: The final chapter of this great epic space adventure confirms the characteristics of the first two: plot and narrative that allow it to compete with the greats of cinema. The story of Commander Shepard develops into a crescendo in which the twists shape the plot and the characters in a totally customized way.
Pros: Twists, moral choices, high-level narrative
Cons: some graphic issues, translation sometimes inaccurate, unexpected ending
Summary: I am a self confessed Mass Effect superfan. i have loved it from the moment I started the first game through the 5+ complete playthroughs I have done of the trilogy. Endings aside, no matter which boat you float on, love it or hate it, I did not think it ruined the experience for me or ditracted from the myriad of other poignant and exceptional moments with this final entry into the series. The story, characters, sound, environments, and action were top notch.
Summary: I know that many chastise this game's ending, claiming that what was supposed to be an ending determined by an intricate system of choices made throughout all three games essentially... wasn't. I agree that that would have been pretty cool, but honestly, the choices I made in this game FELT so pressing and huge and gave me so much anxiety that it doesn't matter that the ending didn't hold me accountable for my decisions.
Summary: I loved the first two (other than the awkward missions on random planets in the never ending bounce-mobile). The graphics are great and the story is fantastic. I love how the choices you make effect certain things further along. The thing I don't like? The ending(s). It ended on a horrible note. Some people enjoy the way the trilogy was finished. Really it's just a matter of opinion.
