Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Game Over Online
1 September 2012
  • Excerpt: Capcom made the 3DS sing with Super Street Fighter IV by bringing everything that made the console version great onto the small screen with few sacrifices, and they’ve done an even better job with UMvC3 on the Vita. Everything from the console version is intact, from the new characters to DLC (which is free if you’ve already bought it on the PS3), and the Vita version features some exclusive features that make it worthwhile even for owners of the console version.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds review

GamesRadar
24 June 2012
  • Pros: Anyone can play it and have fun, Astonishing comic book visuals, Peerless fan-service throughout
  • Cons: Too chaotic for its own good, Challenge rooms lack instruction, Defensive play is near pointless

Game Over Online
2 March 2012
  • Excerpt: There are optional touch screen controls that are implemented perfectly. I knew they’d be optional, but I didn’t think they would be optional AND still allow you to use the regular controls at the same time. It’s a great way to use either the front or back panel, and allows you to mix things up in combat.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

Tech2
22 July 2011
  • Excerpt: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (MvC 2) was one of the most important fighting games to ever come out. Its depth in 3vs3 gameplay provided solid entertainment for an infinite number of hours – proof of which is the fact that it’s still going strong in the competitive scene, eleven years after release. In those eleven years, fans of the franchise – and fighting games in general – have been clamouring for a sequel.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

True achievements

  • Conclusion: The arcade is a simple and nice addition and is very fun to play over and over again. The controls are rocks solid. I really hate how it makes for write 100 aord to tell you how amazing this games is. I don't need 100 words because every part of this game alone is worth buying this game for. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVE THIS GAME.

  • Excerpt: Summary [9.0 out of 10] After years away, Marvel vs Capcom is back sporting a new roster, a new look and refined gameplay. Don’t let the changes fool you though because the game is as fast paced and chaotic as ever. The game is tight, polished and balanced with all the right tweaks in all the right places.

Game Over Online
28 February 2011
  • Excerpt: Thanks to that resurgence, and an assist to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom showing that it wasn’t just nostalgia driving the love for a fast-paced fighting style, we now have a third installment in the much-beloved series that brings with it the same kind of fast pace as well as many old faces, some new ones, and a stunning 3D visual style that finds a happy medium between the sprite-based look of its predecessors and the more realistic look of Super/SFIV.
