Summary: I went to gamestop hoping to get MLB 2k10. They did not have the game so i got 2k9 instead. The hitstick is extremely hard to learn. Ok graphics at best. No lasting impression what so ever. Boaring. Definitley not worth ten bucks. I recommend MLB 09, 10, 11 The SHOW! 2K Baseball has always been a disapointment. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME!!!
Summary: Comming off of MLB 2K8 I had high expectations for 2K9. These expectations were not met at all. 2K9 is much worse then 2K8. It is filled with gliches. For example, throwing the ball to first base and the firstbaseman's foot randomly comes off the bag. Also, when the ball is hit to the outfield, and right before the outfielder catches the ball, the player moves away, causing him to drop the ball.
Summary: I'm a HUGE fan of baseball games but I have to say this is the WORST one ever!!! Pitching control is AWEFUL, fielding is AWEFUL and base running leaves a LOT to be desired. Both sets of pitching controls on the All-Star lever leave you guessing where the ball will end up in the strike zone, (If it makes it there at all). It looks as though the graphics have taken a step back to early days of XBOX graphics.
Summary: This is easily the most frustrating video game I have ever played. waayyy to many glitches, and glitches that severely effect the game, for example fly balls to the outfield are almost 50/50 whether your going to catch it or it goes right through your outfielder, secondly and even more frustrating, is on groundballs mainly to the left side, when u throw to first the first basemen isn’t standing on the base. And it marks it down for an error.
Summary: when i read all the review i thought that people were being nit picky. so i bought this game today BIG MISTAKE. the game is reallyy really glitchy. The Graphics are really good but the game play sucks!!!! The pitching is horrible really bad. its rediculous. All in all i think its not worth buying it hopefully the game is better in 2010 but who knows. Online game play is pretty fun but thats because of all the glitches it makes it easier to win.
Summary: This Game Is Terrible. I bought when it first came out i couldnt wait to play it. i played live for the first time it was the most glitched game i have ever played. Also when you play a franchise and you simulate a little bit the stats of the player start sucking. i was playing with the red sox and josh beckett had a two something era i simulated he ended up with a five something era. now cmon they adverised this as the most realistic game out there.
Summary: This game is nothing more than a glitch fest. Most notably is the outfield glitch. But, then there's the 1B glitch, the DL glitch, the online switch hitter glitch, the online 2B glitch, the reliever/mound visit glitch, and many, many more. Plus, there's the statistics that are completely off; achievements that don't always unlock; and everyone's favorite living rosters which are supposed to be updated daily, but are rarely update.
Summary: If your like me and realize that 2k's baseball games are beyond terrible, go and buy EA's MVP 2003 Baseball which is backwards compatible(For only 99 cents, NO JOKE). I went to my nearest gamestop and was amazed at how much better EA is than 2K at baseball games. I have both 2K7 and 2K8 baseball for my 360 and after playing MVP Baseball 2003 I completely forgot how much better EA Sports was at baseball games.
Summary: Ok. well I bought the game and at first i tried it by just playing a an easy exhibition match. and I got like. 5 achievemnts right off the bat so i was really happy. But then i went to play the season mode. it was awful. player rosters were accurate and all that but I had to change the controls to classic.. cuz the joystick pitching and batting is just awful. and when i dont have it set on custom settings for batting. it takes like.
