Summary: 2K8 Is the best baseball game from the 2k series. The playablity is awesome. 2k9, 2k10 suck. 2k7 is Ok but it doesn't have minor leages. 2k6 is a little bit less than 2k7, but it has Barry Bonds. 2k8 has full AAA, AA, A leagues which you can stock with players and play games with them to make them better and eventually promote them to MLB. 2k8 is the best baseball game period. The only bad thing is that it is over 3 years old now but that don't matter it is still fun.
I'm no expert on baseball games but I think this one's fun

Summary: Fun: Being my first-ever baseball video game, and this coming from a guy whose parents first bought him a Nintendo in 1985, I think MLB 2K8 is easy to play and realistic as all get-out. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to but I am enjoying creating and playing my own franchise and like how detailed you can get in regards to managing the team, from ticket prices to calling up kids from your AAA to A minor league teams.
Summary: I just got rid of my PS2 (finally) and got an Xbox 360. I'd played the 360 quite a bit but never broke down and bought one. I was reluctant to buy this game, even though I'd played mlb 2k5 for a couple years, then got 2k7 with the newer updated gameplay and had been playing it day in and day out until a week ago. I read the reviews on this game, and they are obviously not good. I hear the gripes, but do not agree.
