Summary: The Training Camp mode is completely gone in this game. The NFL draft was a mixed bag. I love the scouting feature, which can be used throughout the regular season to gain valuable information on a great number of potential draft picks, however the draft itself is presented as if you were watching it on TV box, not standing in the draft room submitting your picks directly to the league brass
Summary: this game is not great but it isnt as bad as everyone says it is. If you are accustumed to buying Madden games on a yearly basis then this game will be just like Madden 10 with small configurations and not much of an improvement. If you are new to football games than this isnt that bad of a buy.
Summary: I will preface this by saying that if you don't have your console hooked up to the internet than don't buy Madden 11. It is kind of a mess out of the box. It requires patches, one of which EA has released as of this review and another that is promised by Sept 30th. If you like your NFL games with no defense, and no special teams than Madden 11 is the game for you!
Summary: Two steps forward, one step back (like always). Stuff that used to work just fine now sucks (strategy pad, online play (REALLY lags)), but some things that used to suck are now better (they FINALLY tuned the catch animations). All in all alright, but certainly could have been A LOT better.
Summary: Good but needs work. GameFlow sucks. Voice commentary is terrible. Online match making and lobby system is broken. Other wise its solid(new running game system is awesome), but not much of an improvement from last year.
Summary: These new changes to bring casual gamers in really hurt the game. None of the features added were requested at all but let me summarize the added features. 1. Gameflow(Ask Madden 2.0)-You press A and it picks a play for you good i guess if you can't do it yourself or dont care what play you do but is this really the main new feature added??? 2. Improve Blocking and Catching - Awesome ive been waiting for the good blocking and catching for a while. 3.
Practically the same exact next-gen Madden game that you spend your money on every year
10 August 2010
Summary: I've been a madden fan for as long as I can remember, from Madden 94 up until the 2010 version. This years Madden (2011) is easily the worst all around Madden game that I have ever played. Having said that, it is still really fun! I'm finding it very hard to even begin listing the faults, but here goes nothing...
Conclusion: Ive just got madden 10 an tbh i was dissapointed, but its not with the game play that has got better, aswell as its realism and graphics, the one big downfall is that online multiplayer has to be bought for 800 microsoft, that is the only bad thing about the game
Summary: As madden fans will know you simply have to get each installament simply to get all the latest rosters and in particulr the latest rookie for your team. And on launch day each year I part with my 40 quid like a kid in a sweet shop, even though a simple online roster update would do the trick. If a games not broke, dont fix it! And here in lies Maddens problems, the changes are only minimal because the game engine and AI is already good.
