Summary: I have said it before, and I'll say it again: EA Sports needs to release their sports games only once every 3 years. Not much can be done to a game in 8 months, and each iteration of Madden seems to disappoint with its lack of ingenuity.
Summary: This new madden 11 showed some promise, but after a few weeks with it im just as disappointed in ea sports as ever. For one thing this game has nothing on nfl 2k5 lets see thats over five years old and still a much better game.Better control of defense, better halftime show, better replay ability the...
Summary: Take Madden 10, pretty up a few things, slap on some unrequested and unhelpful "features", don't bother fixing most of the problems that have been plaguing the franchise for years, and you've got Madden 11. GameFlow. woo.
Summary: Be aware that in January of 2013 EA has shutdown the servers for this game so it's no longer possible to play against other people over XBox Live/PS3, etc. It seems this is the new method of forcing people to buy the game every season, or at the least every other season.
Summary: Last year was great, the whole protak system was amazing. This year's gameplay tho just seemed...I don't know subpar and not fun. It's nice to see receivers staying in bounds on sideline catches and to see real people's faces.
Summary: I admit, I'm a sucker for Madden games. Every year I go out and buy it so I can have updated rosters and a few new features. This year the game took a significant backwards step. The game plays well. Cool animations and the commentary is much improved.
Summary: I have bought just about every Madden since the mid 90's and I just can't put into words how disappointed I was in this game. Madden 10 is the best and one year later, EA makes THE worst Madden since the 80's! To start, no ranked online games with friends even if you want to. EA server SUCK.
Summary: I played this game multiple times at best buy before it came out and I thought to myself... they better have updates for this game because the no turbo, blocking, catching out of bounds, user control man coverage on a deep route on offense and defense, quarter back throwing, etc. need some tweaking.
Summary: Another year, yet another Madden. And still what baffles the brain is how EA can take steps forward yet backwards at the same time with each iteration. I really liked last year's edition because it seemed like EA was finally listening and doing what they could to get the series right.
