Summary: I just bought this game for gamerscore and wow was it a bad game. I can't beleive that anyone would think that this game is fun. The game is very glitchy, unbalanced, and the graphics are terrible. Do not buy this game unless you just want gamerscore from it!
Summary: this is probably old news by now, but i just realized amazon.com kept all my previous purchases on file, so i'm reviewing most of them at once now to help out fellow consumers--i always appreciate it myself so i'm returning the love. oh, the game? can i score this -1 on a scale of 1 to 10? dang...giving this a 1 is being too nice! worst madden ever. but you probably already knew that.
Summary: The review is for the Xbox 360 version of the game. This game has great graphics, but there are just too many cons. My biggest cons: 1. No game save during play. HUH? That's right. Make sure you have two hours to kill and then hope the game you just won in overtime actually saves to the HD. At least 25% of the time the game ended and I exited the game only to turn off the unit and come back a week later with the game erased as if I had never played it. 2.
Summary: Every year i buy Madden without playing it. I have been playing Madden football since Madden '92; every year it is one of my favorite games, and I will be playing throughout the football season, and into the summer to tide me over unitl next fall. Then I played this trash masquerading as a John Madden Football title. I dont even want to get in to it here, but I will never purchase another madden game again unitl I play it first.
Summary: I made the jump from Sony's PlayStation to the XBox 360 last summer. I skipped out on the interim generation of consoles -- as a student, I couldn't justify the cost. I had almost every Madden title out there for the PlayStation, and so I did the same with Madden NFL 07 on the 360. I was, to put it nicely, displeased. Madden NFL 07 actually made me want my PlayStation back.

Summary: This was the first 360 I got. And i wish i didnt waste my money. Madden 07, you hear it, and think...FOOTBALL! so you get it, cause hell, we all like football. But what we dont like is a football game that really, really, really is not good at all. So you want to know why it isnt good? lets go over it. You fumble the ball, but, you cant help it. It just happens. You get flagged for pass interference ALOT (especially after 2nd half, who'd of guessed?
Just OK when poor coding and defective disks don't stop you from playing

Summary: First and foremost, it should be apparent to anyone that plays this game that EA spent very little money developing this title other than paying out for the NFL exclusive license. The overall presentation is lacking and pales in comparison to the current generation games for the Xbox and PS2 and is not even in the same ballpark as the, now defunct, 2k series. Absolutely no effort went in to making you feel like your watching an NFL game on Sunday.
Summary: This game is absolutely ridiculous. I have played football games since NES and this one feels like that is where it belongs. Game play is horrible and if that's the case then who cares about graphics. If you want visuals watch a movie, if you want game play you had better look elsewhere for a football game. EA needs to stick to the Sims and let true football fans and players create football games.
Summary: Next Gen? No, not when the "current generation (i.e. x-box)" variation is better than it's superior big brother for the 360. I won't go into all the details seeing that most reviewers have already nailed the major points (see below). I just don't understand how EA ca n fall this far short. Even the little details like every player wearing Reebok cleats (which they don't) or the fact that you can't create you own player the way you were able to on the older versions.

Summary: I knew coming in that this game wasn't going to be the Madden of old. Since getting the deal with the NFL EA Sports has cut corners and produced shotty work. But I really wanted to play football on my fairly new Xbox 360 so I went ahead and traded in NBA Live 06 for 9.99 to purchase this game. When I started the game things seems to be excellent. Beautiful stadiums filled with fans that at most times are full 3D rendered. Then the gameplay started.
