Summary: Very dissappointing, the fact that you jump between characters in story mode never allows you to get into the plot which doesnt seem to tie into lost planet one. Also the mech suits seem to have faded into the background.
Summary: I never played Lost Planet but I decided to try Lost Planet 2 anyway. The game itself is very short but it has a high replay value. Playing it with other people online is the only way to go. The game itself is nothing special but if it is particularly low priced I would say try it out. That's what I did. I think I only paid maybe $10 and for that amount I would say it was worth it.
Summary: The graphics package was not as expected for this game, since it was the 2nd in a series one might think that they would of improved upon the Lost Planet series, but it plays more like a DLC of a game rather than as a stand alone version.
Summary: Nice community of gamers that play online, and game play was boring. Long boss battles with little creativity in fighting them left me rather tired and bored. but overall this game wasn't disappointing. I didn't expect much. and i got what i expected. I bought it on sale for 10 bucks and it held a good 3 hours of my time. better than a $10 movie.
Summary: This game did improve in many aspects such as graphics and smooth gameplay and cool new features, but in the end I find the multiplayer the most fun and to me it just didnt feel as real or as fun as the original. Im having a hard time getting into the maps as well. The co-op campaign is cool, but play it w friends, as ppl on xbox live tend to be worse than the computer teammates. Overall a good game with a lot of potential but it quickly lost my interest.
Summary: I give it a average rating because I could think of more ways to make it better. Like having a multiplayer for the players on the same system, not that I dont like the online but all the other greats have it ( Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty). Also they could have added a firefight like game mode where waves of enemies keep coming with increased difficulty. But I cant say all bad about it, I do like the third person and gameplay.
Co-Op, Splitscreen, Big Monster Battles... Mixed Feelings.

Summary: Co-Op is what drives the fun in this game if you havnt seen that pattern in all the other reviews. Its not just online Co-Op, but Co-Op with those you know, because playing randomly with other people is exactly what it always is with every other game with Co-op, your pulling from a hat, and its a big hat full of terrible, and great players. Split-screen Co-op, isnt as great as it sounds.
Summary: Disliked the game, however my brother loved it. In my opinion, with so much going on, the game becomes chaotic. Its hard to keep up with whose shooting you. Especially if your playing co-op on the campaign. there is no real story line to the game which I was really disappointed by. Part 1 Lost Planet was really good. I expected more from this one. It didn't deliver.
