Summary: I bought Lost Odyssey because I am a long time rpg fan and had just gotten an xbox 360. I was severely disappointed. While the gameplay can be challenging and fun at times, it is extremely tedious. You'll find yourself using the same attacks and spells almost all the time. Battles are random encounters and can be very annoying. The story could have been good, except that most of the dialogue is low quality and drags on.
Summary: If FFVIII and FFX had a child, Lost Odyssey would be its name. Yes, the game can be fun and challenging, but it can also be tedious and downright boring as well. The cut scenes (and dreams) are too long and take away from the game's flow. Yes, they do move the story along, but they just get a bit long in the tooth at times. Gameplay and combat is typical turn-based FF style which works well and makes you think instead of just button mash.
Summary: Okay so I bought this game because I got my tax return back and the trailers made it look awesome. I was very disappointed. The game is very difficult with poor camera angles and movement animations. The graphics are nice but the gamplay is old fashioned. And so that no one say that I should have known that well it's true I did know it was turn based but not cheap. I mean the first boss took me ten tries to beat. The opening battle boss was hard as well!
Summary: It's not the greatest RPG to ever come out. But it offered a real good story and pretty graphics. Other then that... it didn't offer much at all. Just your everyday RPG, with next gen look stamped on it. Combat is the old plain and simple turn based RPG. But done a bit more annoying. Battles are slow and long fought out... which sometimes almost made me want to go asleep. The only thing that kept me awake was the ring attack system.
Summary: This game is a basic RPG, there's not anything innovating about it but that's not really a bad thing. The one thing that is a little different is how some of the characters learn skills. They learn them from other characters and from equipping items, during battle your earn skill points that go towards learning the equipped skills.
Fun for Final Fantasy Fans, Annoying for anyone who hates being stuck in front of the TV for ages!

Summary: As a fan of the Final Fantasy games, I rather enjoy playing this one. It's nothing new, but I knew that when I bought it. The one thing that has spurred me to write this review today is that I have just spent over 2 hrs playing this game and did not manage to save it- and this isn't the first time. The Maps are SO difficult to read (I'm not playing on a HD TV) but if there is a save point around, you may not be aware of it because it might be on another level.
Summary: Im a big final fantasy fan, so when seeing this game i thought it would be awesome. So pros: awesome graphics, great story line, standard stuff you would expect. However, the fighting system is incredibly clunking. If you have played ff12, then you will find it mind blowingly, incredibly slow. Which is a shame.
Summary: I loved this game UNTIL i got to disc 4. It just wouldn't load. Had a read around and found this a common problem. Went out and bought another copy ... put in disc 4 and it wouldn't load either. It definately wasn't my xbox. Don't think it's worth buying 3 copies!
