Summary: Why does everyone like this the controls are bad and IT TAKES 7 DISCS FOR PETES SAKE. For everyone it takes to long to load the the story is only good thing. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: I researched this game heavily before I bought it. I knew exactly what I was looking for: great storyline, RPG, intense graphics. Supposedly, the game had everything. I ordered online, received it within a week, and played it for all of 6 hours before I realized how bland it truly was. First and foremost, it has 4 discs. This, I did not expect.
Summary: I'm not a "serious" gamer, I play games just for fun and this looked fun, I bought this game based on the story and nice looking graphics, and I know I'm playing the same game everyone has reviewed here but the game just didn't do it for me, it started on a battlefield where I couldn't even dodge... really? I mean what kind of person just wants to stand there and get hit with something?
Summary: First off, this isn't a game, it's a movie with some interaction thrown in. The game should have been called Cut Scenes and Loading Screens, because that's most of what you'll see. The graphics and sound are fair, at best. The game play is as much fun as watching grass grow.Game play, hmm, well, when it's there, between all the cut scenes and loading screens. Camera control is horrid, and you are forced to read pages upon pages of "dream" text ....
Summary: This is not a game. Disc 3 is almost all a movie and the rest of them are almost as bad. If you skip every movie on this game you will still waste more than an hour just hitting start and select to skip. The storyline is the most boring, sappy bunch of junk. When you are not watching a movie you have to read the characters' dreams constantly, or skip those as well. Rent this as a video/dvd not a game and you better like bad movies. The game play itself is nothing new.
Summary: Argh. This overblown hyped up overly pleased with itself game contains every design that became outdated 2 generations ago. Where it doesn't ccontain archaic design it tries t reinvent the bloody wheel, and gives you little time to learn. If you buy this game prepare to suffer many cheap deaths. There's a reason why JRPGs don't make it on to the 360. Friggin Japan.
Summary: What a load of crap this game is. It is very stagnant, takes ages to do anything and the combat system is one of the worst I have ever seen. Not a big fan of FF by any means, but personally I would rather play that, than troll through FOUR discs of (what is actually pretty good CGI) an interactive movie. LA NOIRE is the only other game I own that has more than one disc and that game is awesome. If you take out the movie sequences, what are you left with?
