LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Xbox 360 Review

Console Obsession
29 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Traveller’s Tales have built a successful formula with their LEGO games. Take key sections from a major film, build the sets out of LEGO, add humorous cutscenes and some puzzle-based gameplay and you have a hit. This then is the second Indiana Jones game, revisiting the first three films with all-new levels and recreating the action of The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: There is a bunch of small foibles, though they can add up into bigger frustrations. Most levels include two characters for you to pilot, and the one controlled by AI is usually pretty dumb. There is a lot of cases where your “partner” is falls off a platform into lava or quicksand or just getting hung up trying to make some jumps to catch up to where you are.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Review

VideoGamer.com
17 February 2010
  • Excerpt: It's another Lego game! Wooo! That isn't the reaction I had when we received Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues in the office. With the numerous Star Wars games, the Batman game, Lego Rock Band and the previous Indy title, it does feel like we've already had our fix. Yet, they keep on coming and will probably continue to until people stop buying them.

The New Series Direction Falls Flat

Game Informer
16 November 2009
  • Conclusion: Concept: Return to the first three movies, add on the fourth, and get building and bashing through another LEGO adventure Graphics: Sharp, colorful graphics and an increased focus on unique animations make this the best looking LEGO game Sound: It’s hard to argue with John Williams’ fantastic movie scores Playability: Simple on-foot controls, but piloting vehicles is awkward Entertainment: The new approach to gameplay isn’t as fun as the original, but the LEGO creator...

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues - 360 - Review

GameZone
15 November 2009
  • Excerpt: I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I heard they were going to give the LEGO treatment to some of my favorite franchises like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and even Batman but it turns out that these games were not only delightfully humorous but also unexpectedly fun for gamers of all ages. While Indiana Jones has gotten the LEGO treatment before, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues for the Xbox 360 is Doctor Jones’ best adventure yet.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

Gamer vision
13 November 2009
  • Excerpt: I love Indiana Jones. I enjoy the Lego brand of games. When the first Lego Indy came out, I thought, “Playing through this game reminded me how much fun the Indiana Jones character really is.” Even though the game wasn’t without the flaws that had become commonplace in a Lego game, like poor partner AI and bad camera, I still had a good time with it. When I heard that there was going to be a sequel, I was a bit skeptical.
