Summary: This has an amazing intro where the camera pans around the map, but unfortunately the charm stops there. It seems like some kind of maze as it is set in (the cabin in) the woods, and everything looks the same.
Summary: Agh where do I start. Okay before you read this I love the original Left 4 Dead zombies, forced to use team work to kick undead ass, and play as a zombie to kick living ass sign me up." Okay *sigh* Left 4 Dead 2 is a huge disappointment for me. First it's like the original with a fresh new coat of paint.
Summary: For the most part, the graphics are very similar to the previous one, but improved in many subtle ways. Shadows seem to be smoother and more accurate, levels have more color, and there is generally more detail to seen. Enemy death animations have been noticeably improved with more dismemberment and more detailed models.
Summary: The game is great for if you want to destroy some zombies senselessly for hours on end. My only complaint is that there are very few levels included in the campaign, and most of the game is up to DLC or Xbox Live Gold membership requirements. Definitely not worth $20 of gameplay IMO.
Summary: A community created map Cold Stream provided a great excuse to get our usual Left 4 Dead gang back together but, while it was certainly an enjoyable experience, it is certainly not as tightly designed as the original campaigns. At its fairly low price it is certainly worth playing if you’re an existing fan but I'd rather Valve released their own maps from now on.
