Summary: This game is pretty much the same thing over and over with a storyline that goes nowhere. After you solve the 3rd case you will start to realise the excellent realism of the characters does not compensate for the fact that you are just doing the same things over and over. Inspect a dead body, find clues, question people, chase people, watch flashbacks...I gave up half way through the game traded it in for Mass Effect 3 and have no regrets.
Summary: Rock star has made many great games, and this game is ok too but the problem is that this is not a game, yes the main gameplay is choosing what to say to a person but the fact of the matter is the gameplay is broken because it does not matter what you say, the story will still go on and you will still reach the end even if you dont even listen to the story. So it fails on being a game.
Summary: At first this game was really fun and i enjoyed it but then it just kept repeating it self like every other crime scene investigation i don't like it very much it gets really boring the only thing i enjoyed was the crime stories and the way they set up the game but making the game repeat its self like every mission is so not my thing ... just wish it was different..also it feels like its a never ending game.
Summary: L.A. Noire is beautiful, it is absolutely stunning, which is probably the only positive thing I can say about this game. I remember reading articles about this game before it was released, talk about over hyped. This game is an absolute snooze fest. Your a cop, you scour each crime scene for clues, you interrogate people of interest, then you either kill or arrest someone. This same sequence happens throughout the whole game over. . . and over. . . and over again.
Summary: This game is not my cup of tea. Yes it is groundbreaking with the way it has all these low budget actors and camera work. But as for free roam to do whatever, whenever, it sucks. You can't pull your gun out when you'd like, and ever mission is basically the same. Chase after the guy and wreck the car.
Summary: visually the game was a blast. but ten minutes in i started looking for more. maybe i missed the point but the cases as far as complexity came up short, the main character complained way too much.
Summary: This game became extremely redundant and boring. It is a 3 disk set. I muscled my way through to about the middle of the second disk until I couldn't take it any more. This game received 8.5 out 10 star reviews from IGN and I'm not so sure it could even live up to that in a story line component. Now also to be noted is the face that the graphics in the game are very detailed and the interrogation aspect is top notch.
