  • Summary: I recently bought L.A. Noire (video game) on walmart.com. Once i got home, i opened the game and was pleased to find three discs included but it had an extra disc 3. The three discs were two disc 3 and disc 2. Unfortunately, I'm unable to play because it requires disc 1.

  • Summary: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing.

L.A. Noire is a boring game from a company with an amazing track record

  • Pros: Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing. The game relies on you to pick up on facial clues to figure out if you suspect is telling the truth. 2.) The game looks beautiful 3.) The map within the game is big and allows you to freeing go where you want to.
  • Cons: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. 1.) The game is tedious and searching for clues on your suspects f...

Monotonous

Whatever, Amazon
2 May 2013
  • Summary: This game is pretty much the same thing over and over with a storyline that goes nowhere. After you solve the 3rd case you will start to realise the excellent realism of the characters does not compensate for the fact that you are just doing the same things over and over.

Don't buy it

  • Summary: Boring! Maybe for 14 year olds. Restricted in scope and clarity. I was immediately wondering why I purchased this? WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD GAME 10 YEARS AGO.

A neat spin from Rockstar. Better off sticking with GTA.

  • Summary: L.A. Noire is an intellectual's version of Grand Theft Auto. It puts you into the sandbox environment, and instead of encouraging you to commit crimes, you are busy stopping them. For a majority of the game you are going to be spending your time trans versing the city of Los Angeles.

LA Noire? More like LA Bore!

  • Summary: I pre-ordered this game. Games like this are what I love about video games. Open worlds with advanced technology and a storyline that drives the action, instead of no storyline and pointless action.

Very, very, dissapointing

  • Summary: I was so excited about this game that I pre-ordered it (it was the first game I've ever pre-ordered in 15 years of owning a console). I'm a HUGE fan of the GTA games, but this one just didn't live up to my expectations of Rockstar. You can't even pull your gun out whenever you want to!!!

Tedious, boring, and kind of unfinished

Evan B. Bruno "IvoryTower", Amazon
10 October 2011
  • Summary: No one was more psyched about the release of this game than me. When you see Rockstar and film noir in the same sentence, you can't help but get excited, but my excitement quickly turned to anguish as I tried to finish this arduous and dull game.
