  • Summary: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing. The game relies on you to pick up on facial clues to figure out if you suspect is telling the truth. 2.) The game looks beautiful 3.

Monotonous

Whatever, Amazon

  • Summary: This game is pretty much the same thing over and over with a storyline that goes nowhere. After you solve the 3rd case you will start to realise the excellent realism of the characters does not compensate for the fact that you are just doing the same things over and over. Inspect a dead body, find clues, question people, chase people, watch flashbacks...I gave up half way through the game traded it in for Mass Effect 3 and have no regrets.

  • Summary: Boring! Maybe for 14 year olds. Restricted in scope and clarity. I was immediately wondering why I purchased this? WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD GAME 10 YEARS AGO.

I like rock star but this is just bad

  • Summary: Rock star has made many great games, and this game is ok too but the problem is that this is not a game, yes the main gameplay is choosing what to say to a person but the fact of the matter is the gameplay is broken because it does not matter what you say, the story will still go on and you will still reach the end even if you dont even listen to the story. So it fails on being a game.

  • Summary: At first this game was really fun and i enjoyed it but then it just kept repeating it self like every other crime scene investigation i don't like it very much it gets really boring the only thing i enjoyed was the crime stories and the way they set up the game but making the game repeat its self like every mission is so not my thing ... just wish it was different..also it feels like its a never ending game.

  • Summary: Beat the game in 3 days. After a few cases you figure out how easy it can be. I expected alot more from this.

A neat spin from Rockstar. Better off sticking with GTA.

  • Summary: L.A. Noire is an intellectual's version of Grand Theft Auto. It puts you into the sandbox environment, and instead of encouraging you to commit crimes, you are busy stopping them. For a majority of the game you are going to be spending your time trans versing the city of Los Angeles. The sheer size of the city in the game is impressive, for about 15 minutes. Once the novelty of the city size is gone, travel in the game is completely troublesome and boring.

LA Noire? More like LA Bore!

D. M. Vazana, Amazon
17 November 2011
  • Summary: I pre-ordered this game. Games like this are what I love about video games. Open worlds with advanced technology and a storyline that drives the action, instead of no storyline and pointless action. Intriguing characters, conversations you can actually participate in, as opposed to cookie-cutter stereotypes with cutscenes you'd pull a 127 Hours to get away from.
