Summary: Don't know how they did it, but this video game for the Xbox 360 Kinect actually uses the live-time footage of you that's shot by the Kinect camera and ports your image into the gaming world as the good guy who must battle an army of enemy fighters! Whoa! It is so much fun to see yourself on screen, leaping around, shooting lightening bolts, doing impossible crazy back flips and duking it out with bizarre monsters and bosses.
Summary: Okay, so I didn't get much past the first level because I didn't feel like breaking my back in those awkward backflips to get away from the opponent. I love the concept and it worked swell, but I'm too lazy for this. (Notice how I didn't say "old") I think the kinect adventures is more my speed and even that left me pleasantly tired after a half hr of jumping, ducking, and running.
Summary: This is such a fun game to play with your family and friends. It is very fun to watch yourself or others fight in the game. If two people stand close, both people will appear on the screen and can fight together! Or you can extend yourself by holding things like guitars, towels or little kids. This is the most played game when guests come over. However, you need to be at least around 5ft tall to be properly displayed on the screen.
Summary: This game is pretty fun at first, but you need a lot of space because it requires you to make a lot of kicks and punches. It gets tiring kind of fast, and it's easy to run out of breath. The coolest part of this game is that it puts your own face on the main character.
Summary: This is a great and unique Kinect game. The idea is simple. It looks rough at first, but the gameplay is polished. There are no glitches because you have complete freedom to fight in any way. You get a workout no matter what you try. I take turns playing with my 6-year old son so that we can rest in between levels. The comic-strips with photos of the player superimposed can turn out to be hilarious. The game has a lot of replay value.
