Review Summary
Circle of Doom, another release from the series of the critically acclaimed, Kingdom Under Fire. A certain reviewer quoted that the Circle of Doom is an innovative action RPG that makes full use of the Xbox 360 processing power to create a revolutionary gaming experience. While being in battles with groups of monsters who are attacking from every direction, players will be able to explore vast and randomly generated maps. Players will find new and advanced ways to defeat their enemies as the game goes on. All this will be done by using new weapons and learning new abilities to do so. They can also create their own missiles by combining existing weapons and enhancements. Without a flaw, Circle of Doom manages to combine its single and multiplayer modes. Players are given the choice to either play alone or play with up to three people to continue their journey as a two- to four-player co-op team via Xbox LIVE, without having to switch modes. The game then proceeds to give players an experience of a lifetime with fast and bloodthirsty action, stylish fighting moves that are executed with the easiest and intuitive controls. The game Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is not the kind of game to disappoint.

What we have in Circle of Doom is a decent action RPG that has solid battle mechanics and a decent multiplayer ex... Read more

For the record, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (KUF:COD) is a spin off game that does not relate to the strategic Kingdom Under Fire games that we all know and love from Xbox. The developers have stated this, and therefore there should be no confusion as to why KUF:COD does not follow the same gameplay style. Read more

Simple controls, linear gameplay, a basic (yet confusing storyline) equates to an experience that may please the casual hack and slash gamer. Playing online with up to three friends adds a nice dynamic but does little to change the actual gameplay. Some might find it even more challenging when you have multiple players fighting to stock up on health potions during the adventure. Despite the number of warriors you could choose from, the repetitive battle scheme and lac... Read more
