Not bad.

M. Mayfield, Amazon
15 May 2013
  • Summary: Kinect controls are still choppy, and only some of the commands in this game are actually intuitive. It made it hard for anyone to play this for more than a few minutes here or there. Great selection of mini-games though

Limited value

David C. Broussard, Amazon
8 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought this because of the Dancing portion of the game that I saw on YouTube. It was reasonably fun, but the limited song collection made it not very playable. I am not a big music listener to pop music so I didn't recognize most of the songs which also contributed to my lack of interest.

LET'S FACE IT...

Thomas Buckley, Amazon
16 November 2012
  • Summary: most of us bought this game to use the lightsaber. truth be told, that aspect of the game is a letdown. i have a collection of other kinect games so i know pretty much what to expect for responsiveness, and was hoping with the amount of time put into development and the big names behind this game,...

User Review

mrmonster, Metacritic
3 June 2012
  • Summary: Personally, I liked it, but after a while it gets old. The main quest is based on repetitive action and slow paced boss fights. Pod racing is not that fun, which each race taking so long that it will make your arms tired. Duel mode is okay. But rancor rampage is pretty fun.

Not very responsive

Noname, Amazon
21 April 2012
  • Summary: I'm a huge Star Wars fan and was so looking forward to "Star Wars Kinect." I was a little disappointed with the responsiveness of the game to my movements, especially with lightsaber duels. The characters don't mimic my movements at all.

An epic failure with 2 fun mini-games.

DeadBull, Game Informer
8 April 2012
  • Summary: This game was recently given to me as a gift. I knew that the people who bought it for me make very little money so I tried to be as polite as possible. My father and I somehow played the first 2 levels in front of them without killing ourselves.

Above average... almost good. Not even close to great

Randal Ray, Amazon
4 April 2012
  • Summary: Honestly, the dancing is the most responsive and probably the most worked on part of this game. Unfortunately, I would have to say probably the most fun part too. Had they spent the energy they put into the dancing portion into the main stories responsiveness/saber fighting/force portions of the...

THE FORCE ISNT HERE

Jared P. Harrison, Amazon
19 March 2012
  • Summary: I was jacked to get this...just bought a Kinect and big big Star Wars Fan. Was really hoping to move around, swing lightsaber like a Jedi and kick /punch/ jump my way through battles. Wrong. The battles, I was getting beat up left and right, yet, thru the practice, I did great.

Not better than Skylanders for kids

Laverne, Amazon
19 March 2012
  • Summary: We had high hopes for Star Wars, but in the end, the game is good, not great. The one great thing is using The Force. If you've always wanted to move objects with your hands, this is the game. A lot of the lightsaber action is not as sensitive as you would want it to be.

download required

whatever, Amazon
19 March 2012
  • Summary: I wish I would have known that a online download was going to be needed before I bought the product. We do not have the xbox hooked up to the internet. The game does not work with out a download update. So now it just sits. The game maybe fun but we do not know.
