Summary: Poor detection and a mockery of what is Star Wars. This is what would happen if a greedy corporate fat cat owned a star wars license and wanted to jump on Justin Bieber/Jessica Simpson bandwagon. If your a fan (of good video games or star wars) stay far away. If your looking for a game to play while drunk with other inebriated peers, just to laugh at, then I could possibly recommend this game.
Summary: The game could have been a great dancing game, or a great monster stomps on everything game, but it fails miserably as a Star Wars "I want to swing a lightsaber" game. Rancor Rampage is very responsive with the Kinect since most of the moves involve jumping and throwing. Smashing buildings also works well since these are gestures easily picked up by the Kinect. The dancing portion of the game is also great and has been reviewed in other posts.
Summary: Take care: this game, unlike many others, is region specific, so you need to make sure it's compatible with your console. I've had to return the one I bought as it won't play. I have various other games from various regions which all play okay. Star Wars won't. Check your console region is the same as the game you're buying.
Summary: I bought this star wars kinect for my son,but when he opened the game cover,MANUAL for the game was missing, where i can get a manual for this game? I didn't get what i paid for, dissappointed !!!!!!!!!
Summary: OK here it is, This game could have been so much better. It was years in development and I have to feel sorry for the developers. They probably tried really hard but get it through your thick skulls (And I am talking to the money people here)Kinect is a gimmick. Use it wisely. Try standing in front of a kinect sensor and holding a stick. It recognises it perfectly.
Summary: this has to be the Worst Star Wars Game I've ever played. Menus are slow and clunky. takes ages just to get going on any part of game. Rancor Monster is best part but not much to it. Lightsaber parts are awful, instead of being able to swing lightsaber any way you want you have to perform set moves which very rare work. Kinect on this game loses you quite often and takes an absolute age to get back on.
Summary: This is a game for under 12's -so its a shame about the 12 rating. Its all a bit unresponsive and repetitive and incredibly short. However my son loves it - jumping madly round swinging his arms about and I hate playing it as it's frankly rubbish.
