Summary: Finally found a game that my 4 yr old can play w/out my help. It's a little touchy at times trying to start in the beginning and there are a few obstacles he has trouble with, but overall, I would recommend it for someone looking for a game for young children.
Summary: Bought this so that my 4yo son and I could burn some energy on these rainy PNW weekends. We have a great time playing all the games, and he is able to navigate the game by himself when his old man needs to take a break. Mommy likes to play the adventures with him as well. Great fun all around.
Summary: It's been about two months since I bought it and I absolutely love it. After the first couple of sessions, my 6 year old daughter had mastered the controls and is able to jump from adventure to adventure without much input or direction from me. It's the most intuitive Xbox game I have played.
Summary: Great game for kinect. My young 5 yr old loves it. He's had issues getting Kinect adventures and Kinectimals to react exactly as desired. This game did not seem to have any of those issues. He put it in, started playing, and enjoyed it the whole time....
Summary: This was a christmas present for a 7 year old girl, and she simply can't stop playing it. She has been on it non-stop, and it really gets her up and moving. She doesn't get much time to exercise aside from this game, so it does a lot to keep her moving.
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old who does enjoy playing, although some of the features don't work for a child of her age. She is small so the kinnect doesn't recognize her half the time and gets sort of glitchy. The scan your character function does not work at all for a child this size.
Summary: This game has been awesome for my children. This has been one of the first kinect games they can play without help that is still challenging. When we first got it my kids had difficulty getting the characters to do what they wanted them to do.
Summary: Bought this for a Christmas present for my kids b/c it was on sale, thinking they would love it based on the description. It spent about 30 minutes in the system before my kids turned it off in frustration, and we spent 20 of those minutes simply trying to set up in-game avatars for them.
