Summary: This game opens with a burning castle level that actually has some good gameplay. This level design seems quite entertaining until you come to realize, "Hey, all these levels are the same!" This is why the fun becomes more and more unworth it. You basically run through levels with little to no difficulty added to the puzzles that are thrown between the continuous herds of enemies. In the second dungeon area you must shoot rocks into statues' mouths.
Summary: This game was horriblebly repetative. The only time it got a little fun is when you unlock a new monster to transform into. That only last like 10 minutes though because there are only 2 or 3 moves for each monster. Overall the graphics are pretty good, but itt lacks so much in gameplay and storyline. It was a real let down being one of the first 360 games I played. I expected much more outta a 360 title. I would never buy this game nor rent it.
Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360): Decent 360 launch title
24 August 2009
Summary: Released as a launch title for the Xbox 360 console Kameo has not stood the test of time very well in my opinion. You play as a girl who has the ability to transform into a variety of creatures that each have different strengths and weaknesses. The player must use each creature at the correct moments in order to solve puzzles or fight off enemies. I have read many positive reviews of this game but after playing it I cannot see where these views have stemmed from.
Summary: I have always enjoyed playing a "Rare" platform game back on the nintendo 64 and was looking forward to playing kameo their first platform game on the next generation console. However I have to say I am disappointed with this game. Its not bad for an hour but after that nothing new happens! The game is extremely tedious and the same puzzles appear within the levels. All you seem to do is rescue these dumb animals and then use their same techniques over and over again.
