List All 2 PricesFrom legendary game developer Rare® comes Kameo™: Elements of Power™ , a larger-than-life journey full of intense combat, magnificent exploration, and innovative morph-into-monster action. The future of the world depends on Kameo, who must master her new ability to transform into various warriors and harness their elemental powers to save her family from Thorn, the evil troll king. In true Rare fashion, the world is wondrous and immense, the puzzles and challenges are…
Kameo: Elements of Power is more than a good platform game with fantastic finishing and built on strong fundaments. The gameplay is very much ok and both the graphics and sound make a nice whole of it all. Too bad that the long development time wasn't enough to make an epic adventure of it and people with sky-high expectations might be disappointed by the lack of replayability and content. Nonetheless a beautiful game that shows the power of the X360 and that will give... Read more
Rare is back and if you can't admit it, you must have a grudge. Sure this isn't Zelda but I am glad it isn't since it's a brand new experience that will see the daylight in comic books and movies. Yup, if you didn't know, there will be a Kameo animated movie and comic books in the future. Now let's just hope a sequel is already in the works since this game delivered a pleasurable twelve hours of play. Read more
Kameo stars the young girl of the same name and puts her in an epic quest to release her family members and put a stop to her sister's evil ways. She has released an evil troll that had been banished before and threatens the very land Kameo lives on and thus Kameo is on her way to save the kingdom from complete destruction. The question at hand is, is Kameo as epic as it wants to be? Playing Kameo can really be summed up quite easily. It's obviously a been-there and... Read more
There is no real online component to the game which is a big surprise to me considering how much emphasis Microsoft has put on Xbox Live. There is the promise of downloadable content in the future and there is the ability to post some of your best times to complete a level on the leader boards. Split screen co-op is available but even that is limited to only some levels. Read more
Kameo: Elements of Power is an epic adventure, full of exploration and intense combat. The future of the world depends on Kameo, who must capture, grow, and unleash a wide assortment of incredible monsters to combat ever-present evil and rescue her three Elemental Ancestors from the Dark Troll King—who threatens the planet and its wildlife. Put very simply, if you're missing the days of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and haven't got a Nintendo to play it on, or indeed don't have access to Twilight Princess, then Kameo is the closest thing - and it's a decent alternative. Hugely enjoyable, well-paced, beautiful-looking game. Annoyingly short though - that is unless you're in it for the co-op multiplay, in which case you'll be happy with this rent. Read more
I give this game a 10 - with the new expert mode, costumes and other things to download, this game offers plenty of things to do and a remarkable playtime. It's an interesting journey with a lot of great and unique ideas and a complex combat system that really shines out once you've mastered it. The first time I finished Level one for example, I had only a few thousand points - now I get over 30 millions. There is so much to discover, so many devastating combos to... Read more
If you can make it past the first two hours where you need to just gather your first few skills it gets alot better from there. Pretty short game about 12 hours first run through. Read more
The graphics and sound are the high points of this game, and they aren't that high. The controls are silly, the plot is non-existent, the puzzles are childishly easy, and the replay value is nil. Kameo is slightly better than a Burger King game and costs 10-15 times as much. Save your money. Read more
First, as in the title you see my age and gender. I say that because it looks like a kid's game. In the world of COD and other sci-fi thriller games, this original xbox title gets lost in the mix. It is a great game, requiring strategy, and figuring out clues. The characters that she can morph into have to be used at appropriate times in order to complete certain tasks. Sometimes using multiple characters at once. For example, at one level, you have to become and... Read more
