JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD

True achievements
4 September 2012
  • Conclusion: The bonus of online gameplay means you will be playing this a long , long time if you want to prove your mastery of the system! If you truly love gameplay, and gaming for the sake of fun itself, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the demo. If you're a fighter fan already, buy this immediately and never look back. This is a shining example of how much care should go into a video game.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver.

uk.gamespot.com
29 August 2012
  • Conclusion: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. is a good resource for fighting game fans looking to rediscover a genre classic. The basic mechanics are still fun today, and you can finally face off against new challengers online. But it's disappointing to see this rerelease does not match the quality of content seen in Third Strike Online. Jotaro and the rest of the Stardust Crusaders have earned such attention, but what they got was the bare minimum.
  • Pros: Combat mechanics still fun today, Online play with replay support.
  • Cons: Some extras, such as the image gallery and minigames, are absent, Lacks tutorial modes.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. review

GameZone
23 August 2012
  • Excerpt: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure debuted on the Sega Dreamcast and Sony Playstation in the year 2000. For the manga’s 25 th anniversary, Capcom decided to re-release the game and give it the HD treatment for PSN and Xbox Live. Does the game ring its nostalgia bell and make fans want to download this gem once again? Not so much. Capcom has described this game as an “HD remake” but it certainly doesn’t look HD.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver.

oxmonline.com
22 August 2012
  • Excerpt: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure may seem like a strange pick for Capcom to give the HD treatment, but it makes more sense knowing that the comic it’s based on is experiencing a resurgence of interest in Japan. What doesn’t make sense, however, is how poorly this cult fighter’s been treated in its download debut. Despite the game’s low-key Western release in the late ’90s, the years have proven kind to it, with curious fighting fans picking up on its surprising technical depth.
  • Pros: + Excellent, uber-technical fighting engine holds up.
  • Cons: ? Why isn’t the translation updated to match the English anime and manga releases?

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD Version Xbox 360 Review

DarkZero
24 September 2012
  • Excerpt: I am all behind old games being updated for current systems, especially fighting games. I never got to play JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure back when the game released on the PS1 and Dreamcast , so this is the perfect time for me to test it out. That said, it seems this HD release has not been given the same amount of love that Street Fighter III: Third Strike: Online Edition or the upcoming Marvel vs.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD - Review

Gamezapp
1 October 2012

JoJo´s Bizarre Adventure HD : lucha para sibaritas

akihabarablues.com
24 September 2012

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure HD

Looki.de
3 September 2012
  • Conclusion: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure kämpft mit vielen Problemen.
  • Pros: alter 2D-Charme, abgedrehte Charaktere, klassischer Arcade-Sound, typische Prügelkulisse, simple Arcade-Steuerung, keine komplizierten Combos, Gameplay auf viele Charaktere übertragbar, bizarrer 2D-Prügler, zwei Angriffsvarianten, recht spaßig, guter Netcode, einzige Abwechslung
