Summary: If you do not have a big room when playing this game, then you will find yourself bumping into things. The game is fun, challenging, and seemingly innovative for a motion game. Had trouble with it detecting motion sometimes, but I think the room I have the Xbox is is too small.
Summary: I won't be able to use any of the data for monitoring progress because it doesn't register what i'm doing very well, but the workouts still get my heart rate way up. In that sense its really just like a workout dvd- turn it on, workout, ask your GF if you look any better.
Pros: workouts are pretty legit- about as good as you'll get for $15, but nothing more than a standard workout dvd.
Cons: -Kinect interface is awful- i'm still trying to figure kinect on the whole, but the other games I have seem to work fine. This one, however, loses me constantly and doesn't seem to register my movement very well. The game keeps track of your progress and gives a calorie burn total- but it seems that it is all tied to how the kinect interprets what you're doing, which is poor. -I bought a kinect workout game looking for a fun way to get exercise while also getting some...
Summary: This game was a huge waste of my money and I sold it back to GameStop for a huge loss. The interface sucks. Makes it almost unuseable. I spent more time trying to get the system to recognize me and not getting credit for what I was doing. Then, the ultimate frustration was to hear that I could do a lot better. I thought it would be fun to exercise along with the adventure, but since the interface was so frustrating it was not fun at all.
Summary: I was really looking forward to an exercise game with more "game" to it, but this is nothing but frustration. I stood directly in front of the kinect sensor anywhere from 6-10 ft away and it rarely recognized my movement (fast or slow). I finally found a spot about 9 feet away off to the left where it could find me well enough to use the menu swipe. When I did get to the excercises, it is looking for precise and synchronized movement.
