Summary: It's a fun game for a little bit, controlling ironman is easy and fun, the problem is that the game pretty quickly turns into shooting stuff while overwhelmingly large forces launch dumb attacks at you. The game becomes about attacking and hiding for a little while to recover, the enemies are always the same, just a ton of gun/planes/helicopters attacking all at once. It gets dull pretty quickly. Flying is fun, the game looks cool, but it gets boring fast.
Summary: Iron Man has good graphics and mediocore sound, but the game lacks the essence of a fun game. First of all, the game has poor bosses and is very repetetive. Second, the game is not multiplayer. Third, when your done story mode there is nothing to do. The game could have been good, but failed to do so. I would definitely not reccomend this game.
Summary: Iron Man and Wolverine have been my favorite Marvel characters since I can remeber. When the Iron Man movie came out I had to see the first day. The game however did the movie nor the comic book character any justice. Most of the game felt half done or that someone just took a quick glance and never looked back again. The graphics were ugly and the characters other than Iron Man looked horrible and I couldnt even tell who or what they were half the time.
Summary: I rented this game because I loved the movie. The game could have been so much better. It seemed that all of the focus was entirely on the flight combat, so if you look at anything closely, the graphics are terrible. The controls are easy to get down, but the gameplay is the most repetetive I've ever seen. Sometimes there is like fifty rockets or missles being shot at you at one time which is really annoying because you can't really do anything against that.
Summary: This game I found to be a let down. The flying controls can get a little frustrating when dealing with fighter jets or flying enemy bosses. The graphics aren't cutting edge and the way they display Iron Man's powers doesn't do him any justice. The few positives about this game are the options you get to customize his battle armor, however the look never changes based on the options you choose.
Summary: Although its nice to play as Ironman, this game is not worth $[...]. More like $[...]. The cut scenes are horrible. Some of the graphics are nice, the ironman suit is nice as well. After a day or two of playing this game, i regretted not getting GTA4 instead.
Summary: I may be asking a lot out of this generation of games. Iron Man is the same song-and-dance. You have an anticipated blockbuster action film, and you have to develop the accompanying game for six different gaming consoles, including the PC, and turn out the final product in time for said film's release. Already you can expect the game's visuals to be lackluster, although Shellhead himself is surprisingly well-done.
Summary: Iron Man was a great movie and has now turned into a video game. It doesn't really follow the story line of the movie but it has similar parts to it. The cut scenes are bad and aren't very fun to watch, and the animation isnt that good either. The gameplay is probably the best part of the game, even though it's not that great.
Summary: I am a fan of Ironman. I bought this game immediately after watching the movie but before reading a review or learning anything abouth the game. Robert Downey plays Stark to perfection in the movie and I was hoping (regardless of my past disappointments in movie franchise games) that they could make this game presentationally respectable and mildly fun to play. Sadly, the disappointment of not getting a good game from a good movie continues.
