Summary: My eleven-year-old nephew finished this game in a couple hours, and no, he's not some video game prodigy. It's very clear to me that this game was an after thought to cash in on the timing of the movie. It doesn't have to be that way, though. My nephew has gotten hours upon hours of fun from his Spiderman video games. In this case, though, it's obvious something was just slapped together with little development effort.
Summary: This game is VERY unimpressive. It's about as generic as it can get. From repetative, long missions and weak last generation graphics to a lame story line. The controls were also awkwardly simple if that makes sense. It's a typical rush it out for the movie fan sales video game. I actually got bored after about 30 minutes but kept playing just to see if it got any better; it didn't. This game had a lot of potential but it flopped way short of even being decent.
Summary: There hasn't been a game in quite some time that I thought was terrible, pretty much across the board, but 'Iron Man' managed to hit it. From terribly repetitive levels with re-spawning enemies, to it unnatural flight controls and a bad targeting system; 'Iron Man' manages to fail at damn-near everything it tries to do. This is the best-example of every criticism of a "movie game" I've ever seen.
Summary: The demo of IronMan was quite entertaining and fun. It didn't take long to get the hang of the flying controlls and the action was implemented quite well. The graphics were not the most impressive I have seen but the demo got me excited enough to buy the game. The opening sequence of the game where Stark builds his first nonflyable suit was good, but after that it went into a "training sequence" to aquaint you with flying and your "super powers" and everything was going...
Summary: I've been an Iron Man for years and this is the biggest deportment. I was expecting some part of this game to be kind of like the spider-man games. You know the large open areas to explore and accept mission when your ready to but this game doesn't have that at all. The game play gets boring really fast and in some levels it will just keep respawning enemies until you figure out what to do and other levels they just keep coming in waves and it's hard to tell if you not...
Summary: This is another movie tie in game and this one is not one the best ones around. I have loved Iron Man for many man yyears now, and the movie was brilliant. However this game is anything but that. The game does not follow the movie storyline and is completely seperate but you are playing as Iron Man. You spend most your time flying around killing bad guys, and thats about it quite simple really.
Summary: After watching the movie, I was eager to try out this game because of the amazing story line in the film, although i did have caution knowing that almost every game that was once a film (e.g. Harry potter etc) are always a real let down! And I wasn't completely disappointed, however I am not entirely pleased by the gameplay.
Conclusion: poor graphics very poor game design no depth annoying gameplay - you are attacked from all sides have stupid time limits to get extras etc the game while playing is cluttered you can't lock onto a target very annoying as there are usually a dozen things all firing at you from different directions borrowed this from a friend gave it back to him 2 days later got half way through and just couldn't be bothered to try to finish it it was Soooo annoying to play....avoid!
Conclusion: Rubbish! Why would SAGA even think about making this game. The story line, pathetic. The levels quick and boring. The graphics, just bad. For your own sake do not buy this game! Get COD 4 or Just Cause instead.
