Excerpt: We’ve seen some good Kinect games, and we’ve seen some bad Kinect games. However, we’ve never really gotten to the point where we’ve seen a Kinect game so awful that it almost made us swear off motion gaming entirely. That is, until this weekend, when a wrestling buddy invited us over to have some “fun” with Hulk Hogan’s Main Event . And by fun, he must’ve meant “trying to figure out how to make the damn thing work”, because, really, we’re still stuck.
Excerpt: Good wrestling matches and games have some common threads. Both call for plenty of action-packed movement, tons of personality, and awesome young talent. Hulk Hogan’s Main Event is completely bereft of all three. It’s the videogame equivalent of Hogan’s Doomsday Cage Match from Uncensored ’96 — it makes a strong case for being one of the worst of all time.
Pros: + Mimicking entrance moves and integrating interview clips are good concepts...
Cons: ? Not that it would’ve helped the game, but why can’t we play as Hulk?
