Not worth the hour of play to get the hour of victory
7 March 2013
Summary: Bought thinking it would be an interesting version of a WWII shooter. Game play is at times jerky, graphics while decent are blocky at times. Not much thought was given to your character's uniforms, they run around in the same uniform regardless of enviroment (snow, desert, woods) Stick with Call of Duty or Medal of Honor shooters, they are much smoother graphically and play wise. This one will be going to the local game store for trade, not the best game made.
Summary: this game is good for the first levels but when you get to that level where you are in a tank you cant get past that level i mean there is no why to get past it that i know so this game is bad do not buy only if you want to play the first three or four levels of the game
Summary: Well, this game really isn't that good. The controls are weird, ESPECIALLY if your a big Call Of Duty player. The game just didn't appeal to me and I can't get past this one level when you're in a tank with a scientist trying to escape Castle Festenburg-A.K.A. Castle Wolfenstein-and there is Panzershreks (German Rocket Launchers) absolutley everywhere. I wouldn't reccomend this game to most people.
Summary: Ok, this game is the worst FPS I have ever played. IT SUCKS!!!! I play a lot of FPS games and this is bad. The graphics are bad, the gameplay is bad, the whole game is bad. play the demo before you buy it.
Summary: Hour of Victory is an FPS that tries out the whole diversity with the characters pitch, and the awesomely derivative dialogue. The game is basically a weak FPS, with no real point and sense of what it wants to be, with that said, it still does have some value. You can get some easy achievements, and it only cost me $12, so no real loss. Basically, this game is a very linear, short, and generic FPS. If you see it for cheap maybe buy it, but dont expect anything great.
Summary: Hour of Victory starts as a good idea, but goes wrong rather quickly. Snipers are supposed to be able to climb to high area to snipe people, but it rarely happens in a level. The stealth guy is able to hide in shadows and be stealthy, but his hit points are rather low. The best option is the commando and he can take a lot of damage...as if that was a problem. The enemy AI is rather clunky.
Summary: This game is terrible. I was looking forward to a new name in World War II shooters, but this is just more of the same done worse. The controls were a little annoying, but you'd get used to them. Graphics are no where near as good as they were saying they would be. Missions were boring and character specialties (Sniping, stealth etc.) were more a nuisance then a fun addition to the genre.
Summary: my title says it all. thank god i rented this game instead of buying it. the only reason i gave this game 2 stars is because of the graphics. when the demo first came out on xbox live marketplace, i gave it a try and the gameplay was horrible. when this game was released i gave it a rent. i played for about 1 hour, then took it back the next day. i really tried my best to like this game. take my advice, if you want to give this game a try then rent before you buy.
