Hole in the Wall

Family Friendly Gaming
30 December 2013
  • Excerpt: When we first predicted the success of the Kinect on the Xbox 360 we thought about good fits for the device. We knew about the Japanese TV version of Hole in the Wall. We put those two together and said it had the potential to be a big hit. Hole in the Wall made it to American television, and also to the Xbox 360 thanks to Ubisoft. There are some good things about this game, and some bad things.

Hole in the Wall

BluRay Authority
28 January 2012
  • Excerpt: The global television sensation Hole in the Wall seems like a perfect candidate for a Kinect game, but does the result live up to the potential. As based on the popular game show of the same name, Hole in the Wall tasks contestants to think quick and move even quicker, as a wall is headed right in their direction. But as the show’s name should hint, the wall has a hole, shaped like a human in various unusual poses.

Hole In The Wall (X360) - Review

18 October 2011
  • Excerpt: Hole In The Wall is brought to you courtesy of Ludia. Ludia is a developer that specializes in creating games from TV shows, so them creating Hole In The Wall for Kinect is pretty much a no-brainer. And there is merit to the idea as well. The TV show is about people trying to squeeze themselves through oddly shaped holes in walls that will push them into the water if they're unsuccessful.

Expert Review

24 August 2011
  • Summary: As a game show that challenges contestants to strike and hold a variety of strange poses, Hole in the Wall seems like it would be right at home on the Kinect. In the game, as in the show, a series of walls advance on the player, each with a shape cut out of it that the player must match. These shapes include human figures, abstract blobs, and simple polygons, and scrambling to position your body to line up with each shape creates some goofy fun.
  • Pros: Striking poses is silly fun, Two-versus-two competition makes it even sillier
  • Cons: Body tracking is inconsistent, Feedback is unclear, Lame presentation

Hole in the Wall

29 December 2013

Hole in the Wall – Review

21 December 2012

  • Cons: ungenaue Steuerung, schlechte Grafik, schlechter Multiplayer

Hole in the Wall

27 March 2012
  • Conclusion: Das Spiel ist was es ist: Ein Partyspiel. Ein ideales Spiel für einen Spielenachmittag. Als DAuerbrenner wohl eher nicht geeignet.
  • Pros: viel Fun, Partyspiel, bringt die Show ins Wohnzimmer
  • Cons: Verzögerungen, Sparflamme in Sachen Grafik und Sound

Hole in the Wall

14 November 2011
